  Because I don't have any fingernails, I kinda think anybody who already has them  knows how to take care of them, so I'll throw in an extra one again today... At this rate, I'll be out of hints within a couple of months... lol
 
FINGERNAILS:   Never cut them with sicissors, as this can cause them to split.  File them with an emery board - from the sides up to the tip (never in a see-saw movement.) 
 
FIREPLACES:  If you are lighting a fire in a chimney which may be damp, first burn a creased sheet of newspaper in the grate..  This should remove the moisture from the chimney and help you get the best out of the fireplace .
