(a) If two glasses have stuck together and you are finding it difficult to separate them, stand the bottom glass in hot (Not boiling) water and fill the top one with cold water. This should cause them to separate without damanging them...
(b) To get rid of small chips around the rim of a glass, rub them with fine sandpaper until smooth.
(c) Stand a silver spoon in a glass or jar to prevent it from cracking when boiling water is poured into it.
