LEATHER SHOES; When drying leather footware, never be tempted to do so quickly in front of the fire, as the leather will harden and will be more likely to crack.
LIDS; If you cannot unscrew a lid, run hot water over it...
LIGHT BULBS: You can delicately scent your room by rubbing just a few drops of your favourite perfume onto a light bulb. A pleasant smell will be emitted when the light bulb is on.
LINEN: To prevent fine linen , which is not in constant use from becoming discoloured and yellow, wrap it in blue tissue paper.
Note: I'm guessing most of us put away our wedding dresses in blue paper for years, before finally getting clear of them.... I did... lol
