Strawberry Passion Smoothie

This creamy fruit smoothie is perfect for breakfast.

Prep: 10 min

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 cup passion fruit juice*
1 (10-ounce) package frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Strawberry and orange slices, if desired


Place all ingredients except strawberry and orange slices in a 5-cup blender container. Cover; blend at HIGH speed until smooth (40 to 50 seconds). Garnish with strawberry and orange slices, if desired.

Serve immediately.

*Substitute 1 cup orange juice.

Makes 4 (3/4-cup) servings

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

This creamy low fat dessert is sure to please every pumpkin lover.

Prep: 3 min

1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S 100% Pure Pumpkin, chilled
1 can (12 fl. oz.) CARNATION Evaporated Milk, chilled
1 cup (8 oz.) container vanilla lowfat yogurt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 pint whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks


COMBINE pumpkin, evaporated milk, yogurt, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in blender; cover. Blend until mixture is smooth.

TOP with whipped cream; sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice.

Makes 4 servings

Peachy Yogurt Cooler

These yogurt coolers are a great way to add calcium to your kids? and your own diet.

Prep: 5 min

1/2 cup milk
1 container (6 ounces) Yoplait® Original peach low-fat yogurt
1 medium fresh peach, peeled, pitted and cut up
Ground nutmeg


1. Place milk, yogurt and peach in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.

2. Pour into glasses. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Makes 2 servings

Substitution: Not a nutmeg fan? Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on these refreshing coolers instead.

Paradise Freeze

1 large, ripe Dole Banana
1 cup Dole Strawberries
1 ripe Dole Mango, cubed
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup ice cubes


Combine banana, strawberries, mango, juice and ice in blender or food processor container. Cover; blend until thick and smooth.

Key Lime Smoothie

Escape to the tropics with the fruity flavor of this cholesterol free, low sodium smoothie.

Prep: 5 min - Total: 5 min

1 pkg. (4-servng size) JELL-O Brand Lime Flavor Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin
1/2 cup boiling water
Ice cubes
1/2 cup cold water
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping


PLACE gelatin in blender container. Add boiling water; cover, venting lid. Blend on low speed 1 minute or until gelatin is completely dissolved.

ADD enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/2 cups. Add to blender container along with the whipped topping; cover. Blend on medium speed until thickened and well blended.

Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings

Great Substitute: Prepare as directed, using your favorite flavor JELL-O Brand Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin.

Orangy-Banana Smoothie

1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Low Fat Cottage Cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 medium banana, peeled, cut into chunks
3 Tbsp. orange marmalade
1 cup ice cubes


Place all ingredients in blender container; cover. Blend until smooth.

Makes 3 (one cup) servings

Great Substitute:
Substitute strawberry preserves for orange marmalade.

BANANA PEACH SMOOTHIE  

1 can sliced Yellow Cling Peaches, chilled 1 medium banana, peeled and
sliced
1 cup low-fat milk
1 cup ice
1 can Pineapple Juice, chilled
Fresh sprigs of mint to garnish (if desired)

Combine peaches and syrup with all other ingredients in blender. Cover
and run on high until smooth.

Yield: 3-4 servings

Blackberry Smoothie

1 c. cold milk
1/2 c. fresh or frozen blackberries
1-3 tbsp. sugar
Ice cubes

Place in blender, cover, start on puree speed then push blend speed until smooth and ice is dissolved

Pineapple Fizz

15 oz can crushed pineapple
1 tsp lemon juice
2 cups crushed ice
2 cups sprite

Process pineapple, juice and all, and lemon juice in the blender until 
pureed.  Add the ice and process until smooth.  Gently stir in  soda.  Serve
immediately

Amaretto Smoothie

Ingredients:
4 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers amaretto liqueur
4 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers milk
1 cup vanilla ice cream

Preparation:
1. In a blender combine amaretto, milk and ice cream. Blend until smooth. Pour over ice into 4 glasses.

Serves: 4
