Stay home with my family... Can't do too much this year... can't drink, can't wear anything cute..lol.. can't wear my high heels very well.. so I am just gonna watch my kids act goofy and maybe bring in the New Year with a kiss...
I was so waiting for something grand to happen...i said let me just lay here a minute and close my eyes...and i missed it for sure. So thats is how i rang in the new year.
Matt, myself and the kids had our non alcoholic champagne in our fancy glasses and toasted the New Year, then lit firecrackers.. I got my New Years kiss that I have been waiting for 4 years to get since this was our first New Years together.. The kids went to bed soon after and we sat in the dark watching the lights on the tree and the snow falling, just talking about the future and how we got here until he made his move..lol.. and we brought in the New Year on the couch... It was grand...
Well my new years plan was Ian and I and a few couples we are friends with getting together to toast the new year, he and I split up on the 30th. What actually happened was me and these same friends got together and they put up with my foul mood and actually made me laugh! I have the best friends EVER. As a matter of fact they had it all planned that if I didn't show up they were all coming to my house to get me..... I am really blessed to have these people!
