How often did you move while growing up?

i lived in only 4 houses until i got married

Growing up I think from birth to 19 we moved twice, once to get away from my father...My mom was pretty stationary as far as moving goes... she hated it.. As an adult I have moved too many times to count....

When I was 5 or 6 I remember moving from the 4th floor in our apartment building to a bigger apartment on the 3rd floor in the same building cause my mom was pregnant and we needed more space. Then after the age of 9 we moved several times...first just a few streets over, then to the Bronx, then to a worse neighborhood in the Bronx and when I was about 14 to a better neighborhood. As I turned 18 I left to join the Navy and except for where I live now, I've never lived in the same place for more than 3-4 years.

I've lived 10 years in my current location.

from what I remember...maybe 8 times from birth to the age of 18.

My dad was in the military...we moved around alot from one coast to the next.

Who says I've grown up?

Before joining the Air Force.....twice

After joining.......9 times

17 times b4 i was 18 then 8 more times since.

23 times so far----hopefully just 1 more to go

14 times before I was 23yrs old.

My parents moved about 4 times when I was young.

And I have moved twice since I became an adult.

3 yrs old we moved one state over...was there until high school...then I went to college, while gone my folks bought another house but kept the one that I grew up in...they then bought a house next to a bed and breakfast...then bought the bed and breakfast...during that time my old man bought a house from a friend and let them live in it and pay rent because they were gouing to lose it to forclosure (I never lived in that one, just ended up haveing a affair with the guys wife when they seperated...long story for another time) then I came home from college and my folks divorced and I got married. I lived in a few apartments over the years while my folks sold the B and B, mom got the house across the river and the house where the woman I had a affair with lived, dad sold the house next to the band b and sold the house I grew up in....I now and divorced and remarried and have my own house while i still stay with my mom now and then cause she is getting old and the house that the lady lived in that i haad the affair with left and 4 tenants later is living in our house again ( NO!!! I have not visited her romantically either...Unfortunitly)

So...Grand total...6 apartments, 4 houses and 3 college dorms on 2 seperate campuses

( except for college...all of my houses and apartments have been within 30 miles of one another!!!)
