Welcome to the group. My name is Bob and I go by Scooter on the boards.

I do apologize for getting such a late start on this thread . . . I've enrolled in an on-line school, to get an AAS in Court Reporting, and the semester starts tomorrow. I've been swamped this week with doing pre-assignments, loading software and organizing my home bound classroom. Am very excited about going back to school and expect to do a fabulous job.

This is a forum where two nice folks - you and me, f'r instance - get paired up and spend about a week passing questions and answers back and forth. I've participated in it many times and have made some really nice friends on this thread, in fact can't think of anyone so far I wasn't glad to have conversed on line with. Since you're new to the group, I'll get started and ask a few questions, then what you do is answer those questions, and then you get to put me on the hot seat and ask me some. Feel free to venture into any area you wish, as this is a great way for people to open up and get aquainted.

Here goes -

1 - Have you traveled to, or lived in, many places; if so, which would you go back to and which not, and why.

2 - What's your favorite dish, either to eat out or cook at home?

3 - What kind of work do you do? What's your dream job?

4 - If you were stuck in an elevator with a notable person from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?

5 - How do you like this group thus far, is it what you expected?

Again, sorry it took me so long to get going here - those who know me will tell you I don't bite (but I do nibble he he)
