OMG be still my heart! I get paired up with the Star! Where are you spending the day & with who? So far I'm spending the day watching football at home. I have no plans to go anywhere or have anyone come over. I'm going to find out what a quiet Thanksgiving is like. Are you having turkey? If not what are you having? Since it's just me I'll probably get a Purdue oven stuffer and make myself some stuffing and mashed potatoes. Some dinner rolls, corn and a pumpkin pie and I'll be good to go! What part of the bird do you like the best? Hate? (or just dislike) I like the dark meat. To me it's tastier and juicier than the white meat. (at least on a turkey it is) There is no part that I dislike or hate. Have you ever had a Thanksgiving that was a disaster? Tell all about it.. The only one I would consider a disaster was one that I attempted to have with my ex-wife and daughters after I had moved out and started divorce procedures. She asked if I would help pay for the dinner and in exchange she invited me to spend it with my daughters. All went well until she got emotional and started yelling and screaming over dinner. I never did get to taste that pie! Ever have an embarrassing one? See what I wrote above! On a more person issue... What color are your beautiful eyes? Well gee shucks! Thank you ma'am! The first didn't work for obvious reasons and the second didn't work because I think we just knew too much about each other. We're back to being friends now though. Can I get you anything? Coffee, tea or would you prefer a stronger beverage? Well I'm a big time tea drinker. But sitting here all comfy on the couch with you I wouldn't mind a glass of wine. I like a nice dark, sweet merlot. That is if you have some? I'm nervous sitting here talking to such a handsome man..  How about something to snack on? Cheese & crackers would go nice with the wine. Are you a chocolate lover? Your asking a woman if she's a chocolate lover? Why of course. Just the plain, no nuts though. I'm nuts enough thank you.. White, milk or dark? I like the white but I LOVE dark chocolate!! I love the bittersweet. Lets you know you have choclate in your mouth Mmmmmmm!!!!! Have you been married? Yes, once for only 4 yrs. Been divorced 30 yrs Do you have any children? No children. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to be able to have kids.. I guess that's good considering we ended in divorce. Still would have liked to have had them though.. Are you spending Thanksgiving with family? Yes. What's left of us.. Just my younger brother & sister in law lives out here with me. Also my sister in laws daughter & her boyfriend.. Have you ever spent a Thanksgiving away from home? One time when I was just out of high school. I moved to Calif. with a couple of girl friends. We were so broke all we had for dinner was baked beans & mac & cheese. They were what was left of a care package my mom had sent us. We ended up having a baked bean & mac & cheese fight with them. Had that stuff all over the apartment & ourselves. We jumped in the pool to wash it off & the next day the managers found beans & mac flosting in the pool & clogging the filters. We used the vaccuum from the storage room to clean up our apartment & "Gee" for some reason the managers found beans & mac clogging that to.. We couldn't understand it..  What is your favorite holiday? I think I would have to say Xmas. Gifts are nice, of course. But it's really the one holiday when we ALL can get together 'finally' & have a good time. We all work such crazy hrs all year & that day we slow down & just enjoy each other.. When you spend it with family, who is the loudest in the group? Now just who do you think is the loudest???? Ok your turn again.. As we're sitting here on the couch enjoying each other's company, What are you drinking? If you are having a glass of wine I am probably having a glass of wine also. Probably something white and dry. Do you like to watch TV? What are you favorite programs? I do like to watch tv. My favorite programs have to be CSI (the original), ER (although that's fading), 2 1/2 Men and a few other comedies. Would you rather watch a movie? What kind? I find movies much more entertaining. I would probably select a comedy first and then probably an action movie. I saw Evan Almighty this weekend and had a good laugh. I think most of them came during the end credits though. What do you usually eat while watch something? I've received a few of those Swiss Colony packages and I like some of the cheeses and meats in them. If I'm settling into an evening of movie or tv watching I'll sometimes prepare a plate of different cheeses and meats and crackers to munch on. Do you have a girlfriend? If not are you looking for one? No, I don't currently have a girlfriend. To be honest I haven't had one in a while. Although I'm not looking for one I'm starting to feel that I am closer to deciding it's time to get serious and settle down. I'll know when the time and person are right. What type of girl interest you? I don't know if I have a certain "type". Smart, funny, outgoing, confident are words that come to mind when I think of the kind of girl I'd like to find. Where would you take her on a first date? A first date would probably be to a show or movie then dinner and either a place where we can sit and talk or someplace to listen to music. How old were you when you lost your virginity? How old was she? When I was 14 my mom let a 19 year old girl from the Dominican Republic stay at our house because she had no family in the area. I wish I had something like you're being a klutz to admit to, but I am having trouble thinking of something that hasn't already been revealed about me in one way or another. Another pillow would be nice thank you.. I do like to be laid back. It's more comfy & relaxing. I love relaxing in the presents of a very good looking & sexy man .... Who was your first? Date, kiss, etc.... Well my first kiss was when I was 14 & he was 12. I thought he was a lot older & it was a great kiss too. He also taught me how to use my tongue. He was also my first date. His name was Richie Porstowski. My first for "everything else" was a guy I met when I was 15 & went with him for 5 yrs. I was 20 when I finally gave into him. Are you still in touch with him? No I'm not. He still lives in Ohio & is married. But I did see him before I moved here to Az. Happened to run into him & he looked the same... What do you consider a good kisser? Hmmm, that's kind of a tuffey. There can be a lot of different kisses & all can be good. Depends on the man& his 'style'.. But I think it would have to be when a guy moves in slow pressing his lip softly at first & than slowly pressing more firmly. Than enters the tongue action. He gentley pushes his tongue between my lips & into my mouth so his tongue can touch & play with mine. His lips are now firmly on mine & he has one hand on the back of my head & the other around my waist. Than we just do what ever ours tongues lead us too... So, would you like to be the man in my life?? That is such a tempting offer, and I'm very flattered that you even asked, but I've made a decision for various reasons not to get romantically involved with anyone in this group. It just keeps things fun, nobody gets upset, and nobody gets hurt that way. But once again thank you for the offer! While we'll getting nice & comfy here on the couch, I like the atmosphere you've created here. I sure hope you invite me back. In the mean time, It's so much easier and nicer to have a conversation in a relaxed atmosphere where people feel they can just "let their hair down". I'd much rather do that than be sitting across a table from someone trying to have a discussion in a noisy crowded room. So, sure! I'd love to have you back. What kind of music should I have ready to play in the background? What does a girl have to do to get your attention & make your head turn? A confident woman will always make my head turn. You can always tell when a woman is confident by the way she dresses, walks and talks. That followed by intelligence and humor and she's got my undivided attention. If a girl made you dinner & it tasted really awful, what would you do? Say? I once made the mistake of telling my ex-wife that something she made was delicious even though I actually thought it was terrible. After that she would make the dish often thinking that I really liked it. There was nothing I could do after that except to eat it and keep my mouth shut. So, if a girl made a dinner and it tasted really awful I would try to find a very nice way to let her know that I appreciate the time and care that she took to make the meal but that I honestly didn't like it. And I would hope she would appreciate the honesty. If your in a relationship & she did something that she 'thought' was loving or very sexual but you didn't like it, how would you tell her? This is very similar to the last question. Once again for fear of having her repeat the same mistake in the future I would have to find a way to be as nice as possible but at the same time letting her know that it wasn't quite my cup of tea. What were you like when you were little? Being the first male child born after 5 girls in a hispanic family I was probably a little spoiled. No hand me down clothes! What was your favorite game? Thing to do? My favorite game back then was Monopoly or Parcheesi. My favorite thing to do though was on Sunday afternoons we'd pile into my dad's Ford station wagon and just go for a drive. Sometimes into Connecticut, sometimes into New Jersey, sometimes out to Long Island. I don't think he ever had a clue where we were headed as long as it was away. We had some very memorable Sundays. Ok, your turn again. What do you do for a living? I'm a security guard at American Express at they're maximum security facility. It may sound impressive but believe me it's got to be the boringest (if that's a word) job in the northern hemisphere... What do you like to do on your days off? Well I don't like to do it, but o my days off I do my cleaning & laundry. Also I've been redoing my kitchen & bathroom. Painting & stripping everything down. Plus cleaning out closets. I think right now I have about 3 projects started. Depends on the weather as to which one I work on.. Do you like to travel or would you consider yourself a homebody? I love to travel. Use to do a lot of it when I was first out of high school. Just around the U.S. though. Now with bills to pay I don't have the money to do much, if any, traveling.. Ok my little love-bug.. Your turn.. I have to start with saying that I've been called a lot of things, but never somebody's love-bug. Is that like being a VW bug? What kind of work do you do? I currently work for the U.S. Dept of Commerce in Radio Frequency Management. Part of my job is to coordination radio frequency use with other countries. Since some of those frequencies are used on satellites I have to coordinate with many other countries. And what do you do on your days off? I spend a lot of time with a few friends I have made locally. We enjoy spending time together at each others' homes mostly. If I'm not spending time with friends or family I'm working on something in or around the house. What do you drive? I bought a Honda Pilot about a year ago. It's the first time I've test driven an automobile and felt totally comfortable as soon as I got in it. I like the roominess and the ease of entry and exit that an SUV gives you. What one person in your life (no one famous) made an impression on you & influenced you in anyway? How? The person that has had the most influence in my life has to be my mother. She raised 4 of us on her own with no support from our father in what many consider to be some of the worst areas in New York City. She showed us to do our best at whatever we do and not to let any situation we may find ourself in make us stop from moving forward. At the same time she showed us never to consider ourself to be too good to do any kind of honest work to earn an honest day's pay. Do you like carnivals, fairs & amusement parks? Now you've done it. Me and amusement parks get along very, very well. Of course my favorite is the ultimate amusement park...Disney World! If so, what's your favorite ride & why? My favorite ride is the rollercoaster. The bigger and wilder it is, the better! I just love the thrill of it. Do you like cotton candy? Yes I do like cotton candy...are you offering? Do you like to read? What kind of books? I read a lot. I always have as far back as I can remember. Lately I've been readin a lot of action/drama/intrigue type of books. I have a few favorite authors and I read almost everything they write. Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, James Patterson, etc... What kind of traveling have you done & where did you like the best? Worse? I've been blessed and have been able to do a lot of traveling in my lifetime. Most of it outside of the U.S.. Most of my recent travel has been to Central and South America and the Caribbean. I also travel a bit to Europe and occasionally to Asia. My favorite place so far has been to northeast Australia and my worse has to be French Guiana. I wouldn't recommend a vacation there to anyone. Are we still 'lazing' on your couch?... Yes, we're still lazing on my couch. Comfy? You never told me what music you'd like me to play. Why did you move to Arizona? If you found "him" would you move from your home to be with him? What do you think of long distance relationships? Do they work? I was so interested in our conversation I didn't even notice there wasn't any music playing. I like just about any kind of music but Rap.. I am kind of partial to classic rock & of course the 'oldies'. But anything you want to put on is fine with me.. The wine is making me very relaxed & mellow. So you choose something. Why did you move to Arizona? Well, When I lived in Ohio, I lived in a steel town (Lorain) & the mill started to close down. Something nobody EVER expected to happen. The mill had been there & running full force for years. So when it started closing there was a lack of jobs. My mom & dad were retiring here & wanted to know if I want to move with them. I packed so fast I probably could have beat them here if I had known where to go.. If you found "him" would you move from your home to be with him? Yes. But as long as I was sure he was the one. Commitment & the whole 9 yards of everything. I wouldn't give up what I worked for here on just a wing & a promise.. Worked to hard for what I have & he would have to prove to me he's sincere about everything "to come".. What do you think of long distance relationships? Do they work? Long distance relationships are hard. I've tried them a couple of times. It's easy for the feelings to die fast. Besides, I like to have my man with me or me with him. I think that kind of goes back to the 'touchy, feely' question you asked me a few days ago. I like the closeness of my man. I want to be able to reach out & touch him at night if I want. (my feet get cold a lot). Do they work? For some they have others they haven't. I think it would depend on how well you know each other. It can either be "absents makes the heart grow fonder" or "Out of site, out of mind". Not having any children of your own, how comfortable would you feel if your special someone had lots of children around him? I would love it!!! I never have & never will know what it's like to be called 'mom' or 'mother'. And obviously I'll never be a grandmother. But if he had kids at least I'd know the feeling of being surrounded by them & maybe know what it's like to have kids in my life. A step-mom can also enjoy a certain kind of motherhood. And grandkids go with that package.. Do you like animals? Do you have a pet? I LOVE animals.! All kinds, but I've always owned dogs. They are my special love. I have a miniture, black poodle. Actually I've had poodles all my life. Use to raise them. My brother brought his little Shih Tzu with him when we moved here & she was a bundle of joy.. It's been so long since anyone has played footsie with me other than stepping on the back of my shoe and knocking it off that I've almost forgotten what it's like! I like the weather and the changes in the trees. Beach house, definetly a beach house. I now live the furthest I ever have from the ocean. That is the one thing I truly do not like about where I live. Do you have anything planned for the upcoming holidays? Well I'm spending Christmas morning at my brother's. Him & I both have to work the graveyard shift that night. But that's ok. We usually do the gift thing in the morning anyway.. What's your favorite, Christmas or Thanksgiving? I'd have to say Christmas. ALL THOSE GIFTS WRAPPED SO PRETTY & MY NAME ON A LOT OF THEM!! But seriously. It's about the only holiday we can all get together.. When you you start decorating for Christmas? Usually I just put up a tree & just put a few things around the house. Last year I didn't do anything. It was the first year we had the holidays without my mom, so I wasn't in the mood for any of it. Don't know what I'm gonna do this year.. When do you take your decorations down? When I get tired of looking at them.. Usually about a week after new year's.. Do you go out to party on New Years Eve? I don't do the party scene anymore. Besides there's way too many crazies out there. I usually volunteer to work. Being alone on new year's eve depresses me. Is Santa going to be nice to you? I sure hope so! I won't know for sure until I start getting things in the mail. Whaere are you going to spend? My mom has expressed a desire to spend Christmas with me so sometime in the next few weeks I'll be driving up to NY to go pick her up and bring her down here for the holidays. In other years my brother and/or one of my sisters has shown up when mom is with me. What are you getting your kids? They are mostly asking for gift certificates this year. I'm all for that it makes giving a gift much easier and I know they'll have what they want. Do you get your ex anything? Ok, I stopped laughing now...no, no, wait just a little more....ok, ok, I think I'm ok now....nope here it goes again....wait let me dry the tears...ok, I'm good...no, wait.... You would you consider moving to where she lives if she lived out of state? Yes, without a doubt. If the living conditions were right and if I could find gainful employment in the area, why not? What do you think of long distance relationships? Having spent 20 years in the Navy I've come to the conclusion that it works for some and for some it don't. Do you think they can work??
