Introduction: While growing-up I was always the so-called "Hopeful Romantic". I can remember, how many of my friends would approach me and ask me to write various poetry to that special person in their lives. Poetry that they would later proclaim to be their own. It was always a great pleasure to see the reaction of the person receiving the poetry, as they would say how truly special it was to receive such loving words. Their tender smiles and blossoming love would motivate and inspire me to continue to provide such favors. I later thought to myself, why not create a poem that a person who was not so poetic could share with another. Expressing what was truly felt. A poem that could be mailed or left with that special person, as that "Secret Admirer" later made themselves known. I was even considering putting it on the novelty market. Printing the poetry on fancy romantic styled stationary and selling it along with a shirt stating "It is I your' Secret Admirer!" Oh the ideas of a so-called "Hopeful Romantic...."

FROM A SECRET ADMIRER

(F)ascinated by your sensuous beauty, as I see from afar.

(R)ejoicing within, as I see your happiness abound.

(O)bserving you as you shine like a midnight star.

(M)arveled by a radiance that is rarely foundâ€?/EM>

(A)s I see you from a distance, my admiration for you continues to grow.

(S)earching my inner soul for the perfect words to share.

(E)agerly desiring to let my true feelings show.

(C)ontinuing to ask myself, “Could this be the right time & Do I even dare?â€?/FONT>

(R)efined pure thoughts, flowing from the deepness of my heart.

(E)xquisite sheer moments, that I desire for the two of us to partake.

(T)ender, gentle emotions, is what I undoubtedly wish to impart.

(A)miably convinced of that which I feel, to be by no means a mistakeâ€?/EM>

(D)etermining even right now, on whether to boldly make myself known.

(M)odestly acknowledging, “That it is I, who feels for you in this way.â€?/EM>

(I)nspired by the genuinely wonderful aura, that you truly own.

(R)espectfully avowing, “That I honestly mean every word that I say…â€?/EM>

 so afterâ€?/FONT>

(E)ssentially reading this poem, “Who might this be?â€?/EM>

May be a question, stemming from you thee inquirer.

 Butâ€?/EM>

(R)est assure, knowing that soon I will approach you confessing that,

â€?U>It is I; YOUR SECRET ADMIRER!"
