No, he wasn't even a man yet. A life lost before he was twenty. I didn't know him but he was a friend of Brenda's and her son.
One family will sit down tomorrow and wonder what they have to be thankful for. For one family it will be tears instead of the joy of togetherness.
We will never know what this young man could have become or could have done.
God help that we never feel the pain this family is going through. That we never have to face that knock at the door.
I know he wasn't a member of this group. But even though I never knew him it has effected me. My family lost a friend and but for luck it could have been my Nick.
Remember this boy in your thoughts and prayers and his family also. Hug your children a little harder and never let them leave your site without hearing the words " I love you"
You never know if it will the the last thing they hear or not.
