| Oh boy but it's cold down here this morning!! Mercy!! It's was 20 a little while ago, but haven't ventured outdoors since. No need to go out in all of that cold!! We had a 4.5 quake shake-up some town a little northeast of us. It was on the Melones Fault, which is a shallow fault, so when it 'gets upset' it rattles things instead of rolling them. It did some damage like cracks and stuff, but so far nothing of any major structural damage. They were showing the interior of a layed cedar log cabin up in Quincy and several of the logs have cracks in them and a couple of the beams cracked, but nothing to affect the structural safety of the place. Thanks goodness for that! I hope y'all had a wonderful day yesterday. I know I did! Well, I'm not going to go out and brave the crowds in the malls and stores today, but I know alot of folks that are. They're crazy if you ask me. I can lose my balance and fall all by myself. I don't need a crowds pushing and shoving to knock me to the ground! Create a good one for yourselves today! Moki |

 Signing in for today. It's pretty chilly here this morning, but the sun has already come up over the mountaintop! We're supposed to get a bit of a rainstorm late in the afternoon to early evening though. Go figure! We can't have one whole day without rain! LOL! |
