Good morning everyone! Mercy but it's cold up here again this morning! The thermometer on my front porch say 20 right now, so brrrrr, brrrrr, brrrrr! A few of us were talking last night about how we cannot remember a winter being as cold as this one has been in this area . Normal weather for this time of the year is usually low's in the high 30's to low 40's, and the sun comes out most days during the afternoon. Not this year!!

Well, I pray y'all had a wonderful Christmas Day yesterday. I did. My son had to work, but I spent it with friends. We ate like there was no tomorrow coming too! LOL!!! I had to laugh at the 21 yr. old grandson of my neighbor's yesterday. We were all eating dinner and he said, "I tell ya what! A person just can't beat a meal that's cooked by old folks! They've got it goin' on in their kitchens!" I thought everyone was going to die laughing at him. He's home from Iraq for a few weeks, so he hasn't had a decent meal in ages. He surprised his grandparents by showing up at their door yesterday. They raised him and had no idea he was coming home for awhile.

Well, we will be celebrating New Year's in a week now. I hope each and everyone of you have a fantastic new year! Many blessings to y'all!!

Good Saturday morning y'all!! I was channel surfing a few minutes ago and found one of Paul McCartney's concerts on the local PBS station, so I'm in seventh heaven right now!! I won't be doing a darned thing until it's over. LOL!! I'm a die-hard Paul McCartney fan! Oh yeah! If I'm mad at you and you want me to settle down, just buy some McCartney music and I'll forget everything! LMAO!!

G'morning everyone! It's pretty cold here this morning, but at least we're seeing the sun! Pretty darne windy too, but there's only a 20% chance of rain today!! Yippee!! In fact, we're not supposed to have rain for the next week! I'll believe that when I see it though. LOL!!

Right now Ms Chickie is throwing everything off of the top of her cage. She's tossing stuff all over the place. It's funny to watch her when she doe this as you can tell she's 'studying' before throwing anything. Then she will pull her body around just like a baseball pitcher getting ready to throw a ball. I'm not kidding you! One of her legs goes up and everything. Then she flings whatever he ha in her mouth. She can throw her little, wood blocks clear across the kitchen and land them in the kitchen sink. In fact, I think she does that on purpose because then she can hop over there, fish them out of the sink, and do it all over again. She's not a Cockatoo! She's just plum nuts!!

Y'all create a good one for yourselves today. As for me, well, I'm trying to get some ambition and start putting all the Christmas decorations away for the year. I'd kinda like to get it all done before New Year's this year.

Looks like I've got my own private good morning thread here. Must not have used enough deodorant or somethin'!
