Whenever I read 'good morning' I imagine you waking up very early, because when I open my emails it is always after midday. Many people here in Buenos Aires is complaining about the heat, but unbelievable, I love it. Here it is very hot, but I love these days. eva |

 Wow, I surely slept in this morning! Felt good too! Some pretty nasty weather outside today so no real need to jump outta bed earlier today. Gosh, up on the north side of our county line there's alot of snow that fell last night and beyond that area folks are being required to have chains on all 4 wheels or else be driving a 4 X 4 with snow tires on all 4 wheels or else they aren't being allow to go any further. The passes further north are a total mess and nobody is getting through right now . They will be opened in a few hours probably. Just have to wait until the road crews can get them open again. They're predicting severe thunderstorms for this area this afternoon. Crazy huh? LOL! Well, when you live in an area like I live in you never really know what the weather will do. I live in an area that's on this little ridge on the side of a mountain in the Sierra's. Sometimes in the summer the weather doesn't change for a long, long time, but during the fall, winter and spring, (especially the fall and winter) we never know what's going to happen. I hope we do get some t-storms. I love to sit out on the porch and watch the lightening and listen to the thunder as it rolls across the sky. What a neat way to relax if'n ya ask me! Moki, prepare yourself for your next winter, perhaps you could come and enjoy summer here while there it is cold, I have a humble little house in the sierras too, so we could go to the river, or visit some cities, etc, so you have another choice for next winter. eva |

| Hi there, I'm messing around on one of the Mac's that my son's. I tell ya, these things are sooooooo much easier to work with that the other pc's we normally use. I tell ya, the difference is amazing!!! I'm having a blast just bebopping around the web on this thing. And the whole danged things is thinner than the monitor on one of my laptops!! These things are just waaaay kewl. I'm not gonna want to let him take this with him when he heads back home today!! |

Am signing in for today! Got some rough news last night from our illustrious "Govenator" Schwarzennegger. None of us eldery & disabled folks will be getting our SSI benefits (checks) until the powers that be in this State adopt a budget that our Goevenator will sign. It's gonna be a while before that happens because he's already said he won't sign anything they send him unless it's the budget that HE wants. There's alot of us that are going to be in big trouble come the first week of February it looks like. I don't know what's going to happen here, but I'm really concerned as there's a huge number of California residents that could wind up homeless if good ol' Ahhhhnold is allowed to get away with this crap!
