Ok, this is going to be the 5th time I've tried to send this info to you folks.  I've tried posting it too, but MSN must be doing more of their maint. because there isn't a danged thing working right now!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Below you should find some helpful hints on how to navigate in the new home for this group.  The most important thing to remember is.......you MUST go to aimoo.com and register before you try to join the new group.  Ok, am going to try to put the instructions in here and click the send button.

Helpful Things To Know While Learning To Navigate In

Old Hags & Old Farts New Home In Aimoo

First of all, if you do not have an account (membership) with Aimoo, go to Aimoo.com and register.  It’s important that you get registered with Aimoo before you try to get to the new group/room.  Then you will sign-in.  Then accept the invite I sent you, click on ‘join? fill out the requested info and I’ll watch for your membership request to come in and approve it as soon as I find it.  This part of things I’ve not done with anyone yet, but I think that is how it should go.  I had one of the Asst. Mgrs. from one of the other groups I Manage help me try to figure out how this process goes.  This is how it went with her, but that was when the servers were acting up too.  We will get you into the new group, just be patient with me please.

Once you’re in the group take a look around and see what’s what.  Don’t worry about goofing something up.  Everything is fixable.  If you make a mistake just let me know and I’ll ‘fix?it.  Believe me?.while building this group I’ve had to ‘fix?a lot of stuff?LOL!  Also, there is a little box above the top left of the reply window that says “Actions?  If you click on it, it will drop down a box with a list of ‘actions?you can take.  (The list reads: blog this, edit, delete, move, stick, lock, Quick quote, quote & reply, IP Banning, Email Banning, User Banning.  Yes, some of those won’t be in the regular members list of actions.)You can click on one of them and use them if you want.  Or I’ll be glad to help you fix something.  No, I don’t know if only the managers can see these ‘actions?or if members can too.  Some of this stuff is going to be the first time I’ve done it also.

A little helpful hint:  At the center-top of each page you will see “Old Hags & Old Farts?in bold lettering.  That serves as a ‘refresh?or ‘back?button.  Once you’ve posted something or looked through something, or just want to get back to the main page,  just click once on that heading on the top of the page you’re on, and it will take you right back to the main page where you can choose to do something else.

When you want to go into any of the ‘categories?(threads) don’t try to click on the white area with the name of the category in it.  Click on the green/blue area below it that has the category name in it.  That will take you into the category (thread).

If you want to leave a reply in the category you’re in, just click on the top right reply button, wait for the page to load, type your reply and then click ‘send reply?on the bottom right.  Now bear in mind that I’m a Manager in here so I see all of the choices available when it comes to doing things.  I’m telling you to use the right top reply button because I see a reply button on the top right, one on the bottom right and also a quick reply button.  Just use the top right ‘reply?button.  If there isn’t a ‘reply?button in the top right of the thread you’re posting in then use the bottom right ‘reply?window.  I haven’t really figured out how that ‘quick reply?button works.  LOL!  I’ve been too busy trying to get this place set-up ASAP.  I apologize.

If you want to use graphics in any of your posts I highly recommend that you get yourself a free Photobucket account.  Photobucket is a free storage area for graphics.  You can go to photobucket.com and open up an account for yourself.  You can store your pictures in there and then just copy and paste them into your Aimoo posts.  Or you can use the photobucket icon in the bar full of icons in the open reply windows.  If you have any trouble getting a photobucket account set-up, please email me at [email protected] and I will help you out.  (If it would be easier for you to have me talk you through things on the phone, make sure you include your telephone number in that email.  I will not share it with anyone and will not continue to call you once you’ve learned what you want.)  You can also save pictures into your ‘images?account in Aimoo, but you’re limited as to how many/much you can store in there.  Photobucket does have a limit, but it’s pretty close to astronomical.  LOL!

To use your images you have stored in your Aimoo images account click on the icon that looks like a tv screen next to smiley, click on my images tab and go for it.

When playing a board game, copy and paste the most recent playing board into a new reply window, play your move, and then click ‘send reply.?SPAN>

We now have our own chatroom!  To get there go to the top right of the main page and click on ‘chatroom?  The chatroom will load and appear on your screen.  All of the icons in there are pretty much self-explanatory except for the ‘predefined messages?icon (It’s the icon that’s 2nd from the right side of the bar with all the icons in it. It looks like a smiley in a can).  In there all you have to do is to double-left click (fast) on the pre-defined words you want posted on the chat screen.  Those words will appear in the bottom area where you type what you want to say.  Then you click ‘send?and it will appear on the chatscreen.  I’m hoping we have a lot of fun in chat.  If you want to start using the chatroom right away, be my guest.

LOL Ruby!  Don't worry about it hon.  It was a mistake that anyone could have made.  My goodness I wish all the other troubles folks have were as easy to solve as this one.
Take care lady!
