Hi I am Sandy and I am Anita's cousin I live in Maryland too in Westernport about 30 minutes from Cumberland. Love to shop and drive my husband crazy. married with 3 kids and 4 grandchildren. I like country music and cooking ..looking forward to adding my favorites to the recipe section here . Hi, everyone, I'm Sheri aka Rebel and just knew this was the group for me (check out the picture)! I am 60, live in Illinois , am married, have two children, a girl, 38 and a boy, 33. We have 4 grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. To keep me out of trouble, I work part time caring for the elderly in their homes and boy, do I ever learn a thing or two from them!! You cant help but love each one! People and friendships are very important to me.... there are never too many of either. Hi I am Missy and I am 57 currently living in Ks.for a short period. I have 3 adult daughters and 9 grandkids..Currently I am divorced .almost 2 yrs. I am disabled so not working... Anita is one of my dearest friends and the reason I am here it looks like a great room and I hope to get to know some of you soon....huggs Missy |

Hi. I'm Margo. Single, 49 years old. Live in Ontario Canada. Just across the border from Detroit. I have 3 sons, one still with me. I live in a house that's over 100 years old (keeps me busy) and work in a grocery store. I like to read, play pool, garden and drink beer. Hello everyone!!! Well, I can't seem to get to sleep tonight so thought I'd pop in here and see if my application to join had been accepted yet, and low and behold it has been!! Let's see here, I'me a 58 year old mom of a 23 yr old son who is studying to become a pastor. All along now I've been telling folks that he is 24........LOL! He stopped by for a little while this evening and we got to talking about my age and how it doesn't seem possible that I am 58 or that he is 24 when he "reminded" me that he's 23. Guess it's true what they say........the brain goes first!! LOL!! Anway, I'm a 58 year old, divorced mom with one son in college. I also have an 8 year old Umbrella Cockatoo, parrot, who thinks she is a human. I live in a small town kinda of in between San Francisco and Sacramento, California. I live in a cute little cottage in a retirement village. I enjoy alot of different crafting hobbies and also play alot of musical instruments. My latest interest is to learn to play the cello. I've recently bought myself a cello and so far, so good. I love the sound of the cello. Very soothng and relaxing. I also enjoy swimming and wandering around out in the woods just taking in all that Mother Nature has given to us. I knit, crochet and sew. I also write a little bit and have had a few of my writings published. I no longer work because of some physical problems that have put me on the disabled lists, but that doesn't stop me. It just give me the incentive to find other ways to do things!! Not too sure what else to tell y'all so will close for now. Any questions, just ask away!! |

Hello everyone. Thanks for accepting me into your group. My real name is Ruby. I am 69+ yrs old, with a 30 yr old married son , who has a 4 yr old son. I have been divorced for many years. I live in Queens, New York City since l962. I didn't get a computer until my son moved out 5 yrs ago to get married. I have been retired since l995, so I keep busy with hobbies besides the Computer. I paint small pictures with Acrylics and put a magnet on the back of them to give as gifts to my special friends. I go out to dinner with friends, go to the Movies, and the Theatre and travel to different places and love to play the slots at Casinos in Ct. and Atlantic City. I also love to play card games, etc. on the computer. I just came back from a Caribbean cruise with my son, my sister and her family, for 7 days... I do try to keep busy ,to keep my spirits positive..... Thanks again for accepting me into your fun group...... Any questions, just ask away !!!!!! |
