History: Born into slavery, it is the only life he has known. He had a kind hearted mistress at one point but when she passed; her son inherited everything, including Shade. The son had an irrational hatred for nekos and used Shade as a punching bag, so to speak. The son went bankrupt and had to sell Shade. Shade was purchased by a man named Concord who would go through random bouts of anger. While in the possession of Concord, Shade met a small whiny neko named Cecona. At first, he was disgusted by her, but when ordered to mate with her, he obeyed and ended up falling in love with his now mate. He fathered a child with Cecona.

 After several months of serving Concord and his guests something happened and he lost everything.  He woke up on the side of the road badly beaten and with severe memory loss. The only thing he remember was that there was someone out there that he must find, but he didn’t know who or why. He was caught shortly after awaking and taken back to the slave markets; where the hated bell was put back on to add to his cuteness factor.

Personality: Usually obedient, but is very protective of his mate and daughter, though now he doesn’t remember who they are. He keeps to himself, never showing emotion, unless the guards beat it out of him.
