he smiled adn  leaped off the bed after her.. ythe food in his body  gave him the energy to be playful..and that he will be as he  fell onto all fours adn chased after her

 

laughing as she ran from him geld to see him so playful and feeling better she went out to the garden and stopped only to see him on all fours loping fat to her she dodged away and ran around a tree before turning to let him catch her .

as he caught to her ahe pinned her to the tree with ihs body. god he felt hollow. he was warm..granted adn  hot.and  furry. but not as he should be.  like there was something imissing.. not only phicaly... but emotional as he kissed her lips softly. his tounge dragiing it deeper. hewasnt whole.. adnhe wantd her.. he was  half the  male he could be.. and she didnt know why he couldnt be whole..

With the gentle care of one who loves she kissed him then put warm arms around him ."We will wait until you are well and whole before I tease you further .I think you need more care from me to reach your potential .Come lets go home and see what we should do." She smiled at him then let him go taking his paw in her hand .She was afraid he wanted one of his own kind rather than a furlees one like her .this sadened her yet he deserved anything she could give him .

 blinked he  took her hand in ihs paw and  nodded.. knowing ther words true.. he could care less if hse was furry.. or not.. kitsune or not.. love was love.... he did love her.. but not as one might think. he loved her like you love your brest friend.. sometone to holdadn chesris.. maybe spoon with   or have sex with... but there was no real  conmitment.. at lest at the moment.. he  folowed her willingly.. happyl even..

They went in and she had him sit down while she cooked supper for them .her face with a smile and a soft song came from her .He was getting stronger each day and becomeing himself too.Soon he would be as he should then maybe someday he would want her for more than a friedn .For now though that was enough .He would sleep with her when not protecting keeping her warm and safe.He was becoming something more that one to keep her safe .Serving their food she sat next to him and kissed his face."After dinner we bathe then sleep.Tomorrow we practice a little to strenghten your muscles ."

days...weeks...months.... pass before them  by  the middle of winter  that  year.. he would be healthy.. alot healthier than he was  before.. throught he was  been  reluctent  to take her  to  bed.. have sex with her.. they  spar,eat,clean,rest,talk with eachother  with eachother  hardely  leaving the other for more than  a few hours to be alone and  figure things out.

 

 avalar would  find out many things about barlen, like  that  he was  born in a  different country, a major in the army. and  going to retire..  when  he had one last mission were hima nd several other of his platoon were caught and  everyone  but him was  exacuted. he on the other hand was sold.thankfuly to  her.

 

 as snow fell on this seemingly random day in the mists  of  december. barlen woke  in  his and  avalar's  bed, the one they shared.. him sleeping  withher.. but nto sleeping with her... he sighed  as he kicked up his spear with ease and  did his rounds.. not expecting to find anything.. maybe a  yeti or a  sour bear looking fro food  or a place to hibernate..repelling  several of both.. he  would find either  no less enjoyable then  giving  avalar a massage for the next several hours. he was  back to himself..  no stronger... he was lean still but more filled out. with  cast iron  bands of  mucles on his  arms adn  legs.  back and  abs.. he looked as strong as he felt.. he he felt  like he could fell a orger in a single blow.. but the  dumb creature would still  live cause its to  brainless to  just fall over.

Avalar saw how barlen improved and grew strong once more .She learned he was a major at one time beofre he ended up sold to her .She helped him in training and played with him when not .they were friends and cared deeply for one another yet still he remained aloof . She let him do as he pleased and he slept with her every night keeping her warm.

 

When he left to do his rounds she got up and went to town le4aving a note for him so he worried not .She found a Kitsune female for sale a pretty little thing and she bought her as a surprise for Barlen so he would not be so lonely and so they had a new playmate.It was odd but Avalar enjoyed the company of Barlen and anotehr like him would be welcome and maybe he would be happy .She never let on that she loved him keeping her feelings hidden .

 

As they came home with new clothes and things for the female Kitsune she called out for Barlen .

he was resting east  sitting over a sword he had made her ona while in his time.. saying the forge was a great wasy to build  strong mucles he was with a file adn taking outhe practice nics and keeping it sharp as a razor. he  smiled whens he called to him and blinked seeing the female fox next to her. he felt  betrayed. was he being  tossed aside now tha thwe was healthy. didnt she want him.. wasnt there  calm love.. and he did love her enough.. didnt hse want to be with him.. why did she bring a female  fox  home..

Sensing that she had erred she sent the kitsune to  a room to wait and she went to Barlen .Kneeling before him she looked into his eyes and said softly " I could not let her be taken by the rutting men at the auction my love .I thought she would be a good playmate for you and I .She needs care I think and we can do so unless you wish her gone ." She put her hand on his paw and sighed softly " I just want you happy and I thought you might be lonely .I do not want you to feel abandoned though I ....I love you so much barlen and I just am not so sure how to show it ." She stood then and kissed him gently "I will find a home for her .I will not try  to guess what you want again .I will let you tell me .For give my foolishness ." She left him then sitting and got the female leaving to give her to anotehr house hold near by that was in need of a pet .

The master of the house took her with a smile for he had children that would keep her company .Avalar returned home slowly wishing she had not made Barlen feel so bad.She paid little attention to what went on around her so lost in thought and she found herself attacked by fools of men who thought her an easy target .

he barly had time to react  to shocked by all of this.. her profesion of love for himhe  moaned into her kiss  and wewas left there downfounded as she tookthe female to another needing home he  followed  her  not  but several moments after .. his  heart finaly  healing were his body and head had not.. he lvoed yes.. but now he loved her.  fully  truely and  without question. he raced after h to tell her..to show her to  give  her the firey passion he has long  deined her. when she  came to her carrie he was so focued on her that he didnt notice the bandits around her and now him   he leaped  ontothe the carrage with  ease and grace adn  wraped his arms around her, holdingher  clsoe and he  kissed her in a deep lovers  kiss, that set fire trailing like sweat  over her spine and down her back.

taken by surprise with Barlen's show of real affection she held him close until she headr the ones attacking the carriage .She was on fire but the need to rid themselves of the bandits ." My love I think we have company that needs to be beaten ."

 he  snarled.. an odd sound to hear fromthe normaly very  noiseless  kitsune as he placed her down gentaly on the carrage  before turning and  smirking" amatures," he called them as he leaped down and   looked around" keep on your guard,there may be more laying around in waiting.'

One man laughed outright at Barlen as he jumped down ."well well the pretty lady has a puppy that thinks it is a man ." He raised his blade to cut at Barlen while another man tried to reach for her and to grab her hair and pull her off the carriage.

closing his eyes he smiled" you know, id put that sword down before you get hurt" he said as  his spear 's head snaped at the blade hitting it down before he spun and  lanunched the spear  past his lover his aim holding true as it  tumped hard intothe  cheast of the man behid her.
