She smiled when she saw the medallion on her and kissed him she thanked the jeweler as they left. She looked up at him and then looked down when he asked if she rode or not. I have not ridden a horse in a long time not since I was a child since before I started my life as a slave. I am sorry if I am a little rusty and looked up at him do not be angry with me my love but usually slaves are not allowed to ride horses or at least I wasn't. If we were moving during the day I was kept in cage covered with a heavy cloth to keep the sun off of me to keep me protected.

"Ach love I would not be angry with you for not riding in a long time .You will do fine just a little practice I think .And depends on who buys you as to wherther you ride. Remember love we are equals you are not a slave to me .You are my beloved Danielle and Soon to be my wife ." He took her to the stable master and smiled frostily . The horse I sent the request of sir?"

 

"Ah yes master Blaze I have the fine blood mare here and she is a beauty .One to match your lady ." He took them down to a stall that held a deep gray mare with a silvery mane .She was gentle and came to sniff at Blaze and Danielle.She was perfect her coat shiny and soft her mane and tail silky and flowing .

She smiled and reach up to pet the horse on the nose and gave her a sugar cube and talked softly to the horse and rubbed it on the head and said "what shall I name you my new friend? Let's see your gray and the only name I can think to name you is Ash how does that sound to you it fits you perfectly." She looked at Blaze "I want him and a saddle where I can ride him one foot on each side no side saddles I want a regular saddle and a bridle. She looked at the man see if you can come up with a black saddle and bridle I want them shiny and new." She walked to Blaze and kissed him deeply regardless of the man standing there she did not follow the rules of humans. She may have looked human but she was not human and would not try to be one no matter who it made uncomfortable. She kept her eyes closed as she kissed him and whispered. "When we get home love I will thank you properly."

The horse nuzzled Danielle and gave a little nod at the name Ash . She was a fine horse and she liked her new mistress .The stable master found a very pretty saddle of ebony .Soft and shiny just as he was asked ."A lady should not have to ride side saddle if she is truely to ride.I never thought that a good idea ." He cinched up ash and put the bridle on for them .

 

Blaze kissed his love back with no shame for he was not even remotely human ."I look forward to your special thanks my love  but you know I gift you because I love you yes ? Come we shal ride a bit then head home for the night will not last much longer ."

She walked to Ash and spoke softly to the horse and petted her gently and then she swung up into the saddle on foot on each side and placed her boots in sterrups and tapped gently at the horses side to move her forward and whispered. "My friend we will work on voice commands so I do not have to tap you with my feet I do not wish to harm you." She settled herself into the saddle and made herself more steady and pulled on the reins some and tested the saddle and nodded with a smile her lips red and full. Then she leaned forward and whispered into the horses ear. "Let us follow my love and we will ride some and you may run free as long as you are careful with me." She looks ahead of her and whispers "shall we move and show them what you are made of Ash that you do live up to your strong name."

Ash seemed to understand the commands given for she took off at a gentle pace with her rider.She went so that Danielle could gain confidence and learn her movements.Blaze watched as he rode his fine stallion and then they were off into the forest both horses cantoring along ."You ride well my love and just a few lessons and you will be perfect as I am sure you were before .the horses are gentle and will learn with you .Come a fasrter pace then home ." He set Stormrunner to a gallop with Ash following suit .

 

A noise alerted Blaze that they were not alone another was near and stalking them .He stopped for a time and closed his eyes to take a sniff of air .he found a familiar scent and one that he hoped never to find again .Not so easy would the she daemon find them and with that he whistled to Ash and they were off again he riding close to his love to see that she was safe.He rode around the long way from home and heard the curses of the one following as she lost them for the time being .He guided them home and put the horses up before helping Danielle from Ash ."We have those looking for us love and we will ahve to be on guard I lost them this time but they are stubborn and will keep looking ." He held her close to him and sighed for he did not want to lose his beautiful love.

When she heard those women were after them and ran inside she went through the house closing the blinds and locking the windows she made sure the doors were locked. She lit the lamps and soon the house was glowing warmly but inside Danielle felt cold and scared she turned to Blaze. What do they want Blaze what are they after you? You know you have to tell me and tell me everything my life is on the line as well since we are mates I want to know what is going on. I am risking my life for you and nothing will change that and you will not treat me like I am made of glass you will let me stand with you I may be a woman but I am still a vampire. She hoped they would be safe for the night.

Danielle's outburst brought a proud smile to his face ." My love I know you are strong and you do have the right to know , but I treat you special because you are .The ones after me are Drow women warriors for the spider queen . they do not like to lose the males to anyone and so they have looked long for me .I was to be a special sacrifice long ago and escaped them .So now they know where I am and that I ahve found a new love. We will be safe tonight for they do not do well in the sunlight so they will hide out until evening .I think we will have to make a stand soon , but not here in our home ."

 

He put his arms around her and held her close to him kissing her long dark hair softly "together we will find a way to end this .then we can live for ourselves and be truely happy ."

She closed her eyes and went to him closed her eyes and leaned aganist him. And what happens when we make a stand with no where to hide and no where to protect us what will we do? She looks at him and then looks away I cannot say I am not worried or scared of what they will do with us if we lose the battle with them. What sacrifice where they after? Then she looked at him with her bright yellow eyes. They want you to lose everything now sense you have found someone to love and they want you to lose the happiness you found. Can you imagine what they will do to us if they get us in the underdark what we would face down there the laws up here have no power in their kingdom. Tears streamed down her face she felt so unsure of what happens and wondered if she should tell him her secret now or wait unitl later. Then turned to him. Blaze this could not come at a worse time I am expecting your child she pushed her dark hair out of her eyes.

His eyes widened and Blaze exclaimed softly "With chiild my love? you are ?Oh...Oh that is wonderful Danielle. " He picked her up and kissed her soundly then set her down very gently and answered the question ." They can make us miserable love and cause us some worry , but with you carrying a baby they will not harm you or me for that matter .Children are important even to the high priestesses and so they will bide their time. I think maybe they will give up soon enough for I am but one male and hardly worth the effort they are putting into finding me ." He gave her a lop sided smile then and kissed her hair softly ."As for the sacrifice they wanted so long ago it was me for males are goood for only one thing and if we displease the queen or our mate then we are cast aside. The queen wanted my mate to kill me for I spurned her for Arora my mate.Insted she gave her life so I could be spared though if asked I would not ahve wanted it so. I am glad now I was spared for I ahve found you and I will never leave you love ." He was in earnest too for she was his life and heart now.

 

 

She looked down with her yellow eyes do you know how powerful a vampire/drow child can be the child can be more powerful then both of the childs parents. But I do not know what a child from us will look like you or a combination of both of us but to able to tell of the Drow blood that runs strong throuhg her/his veins I will pass on my strength and heart and the desire and drive to live long and fight to live as I have and from the father the strength to stand up for what they believe in fight to make their lives better if they start out rough. And the big heart of their father to not be afraind to love and to show another love and take the person you love and promise to keep them safe for all eternity. She kisses him deeply and then looked up I do have eternity.

She was  so right about what their child would be and really vampyres and Drow were much alike .they both were proud and fierce in their ways and love . "Aye my love our child will have the best of both worlds and the love and grace of mother and father.we will prevail and will give our child all that he or she neds to be even better than we are .I do love you Danielle without stint or measure .You are my love and sooon to be wife and we will protect each other from all that tries to part us or cause pain ." He kissed her tenderly then held her close to him .She so cool to touch and he so warm ." Come now we shall rest for the day comes and I wish to lay with you in my arms then when we wake we see what will be ."His red eyes gazed into her yellow ones with love and pride .

At the mention of resting for the day she nodded for she was tired it had been a long night with alot of revelations and confessions. She made sure all doors and windows were locked and all blackout drapes were pulled tight. Then she took his hand and led him to the bedroom they walked in a four poster bed and dark cherry wood a fire in the fireplace and bookshelves lined one wall. She locked the door three ways and then looked around the room with the lamp glowing softly and looked out the window and saw them watching them. She made sure the windows were locked and pulled the drapes tight. She turned to him. "You do know they are watching us out there now?" She shakes her head her long black hair falling over her shoulders.

He did know that they were being watched and he knew just how close and desperate they were .Yet something stopped them and he wondered at it ."Aye my sweet love I know they watch our home and us .We are safe inside and I have wards set .Soon though we will have a confrontation .We must be ready for it when it comes .For now though we rest and love .The night will come soon and we will talk more of what we will do ." He kissedher hair and held her close for she  was precious above all to him .

She felt safe in his arms and more or less leaned aganist him. She pulled away and undressed dropping her clothes on the floor and walked to him and leaned her nude body aganist him and kissed him deeply standing on her tip toes only able to reach his throat and after she kissed him and then licked the pulse point on his throat she bit deep and caused more pleasure to wash over them both and take them higher until they forgot all the outside world and only the two of them mattered.
