Pair charged with giving booze to infant

A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman will face a Queensland court next month for allegedly giving alcohol to an infant.

Police alleged the infant was given alcohol in Longreach on October 5.

The man and woman have been issued with notices to appear in relation to unlawful drink spiking and irresponsible supply of liquor to a minor.

They are both due to appear in Longreach Magistrates Court on November 12.
