In answer to your question on my blog, Ericsson was not your typical crim.
He had a spotless record before melting down and taking the chopper to his wife. He said he had no recollection of doing it, but freely admitted that he must have done it. he was actually a firearms dealer and had about $750k worth of weapons in the house at the time of the murder!
He never gave us any trouble- the near-mythical 'model inmate. and I'm not suprised he got to a minimum rating fairly quickly- I think he was a low medium when he was in my wing. Unlike the KF's and pond-slime he never pretended to 'find God'- which sort of set him apart. As was the ability to have a conversation with words of more than four letters.
He is another one that should have been in a mental hospital, not a prison.
