There was a huge turn out for his funeral. A lot of people including staff spoke. Alan was well liked and respected. Even some of the truckies he'd regularly ticketed got up and spoke saying that he was always fair.
He had a full Guard of Honour which was incredibly moving. There were 4 Dog Handlers and the Canine Partners there. Alan's casket was carried out to the Bagpipes playing "I Am My Country" which was absolutely haunting.
