Banishing Negativity
This is a very easy thing to do, as long as you have an imagination.
First, you need yourself.
Second, you need whatever it is bothering you.
Third, get comfortable, be sure you won't be disturbed for a while.
However long it takes for you to get a good visualization should be the time limit. I like to do this at night after everyone has gone to sleep, and then I am guaranteed no immediate interruptions.
When you are good and comfortable, then begin to visualize. You have a little black pot in front of you. Maybe its a cauldron, if you want it to be. The pot has the ability to keep all things put in it in, and all things not in it, out. It also has a lid next to it, with the same properties.
Reach inside yourself and find the problem.
You should only do one problem at a time. If you want, imagine your spirit reaching inside your own body and grabbing the "body" of the problem. Take it out, and put it into the pot. If it seems to be attached to something, carefully dislodge it.
Don't just rip it out, or you'll risk causing more problems than before. When you have successfully gotten all the pieces of the problem into the pot, then put the lid on it. Seal it up.
To do this, you may want to use some kind of chant or visualization. It isn't necessary. Then, imagine that you stand up, pick the pot up, and take it outside.
Visualize every detail of this, the certain rooms and doorways you pass through, furniture you pass, etc. Make it as real as possible.
Take the pot outside, using this same visualization, and go out to the farthest edge of your property.
DO NOT step onto someone else's property. Then, kneel or sit down, put the pot on the ground, and with your hands, dig a hole big enough to put the pot in, but no bigger. Now put the pot in, remembering to visualize the littlest detail of the grass and smell of the dirt. Now, with your hands, cover the pot up with the dirt.
Brush your hands off, go back into your house, and sit back in the place where your physical body is. Open your eyes. it is done.
The problem is yours no more, so don't worry about it. This will usually only work on problems that have already been over, but are still nagging at you. Like an argument from years ago would be a good example. Things you are likely to face in the near future will not work.
Because the problem has not been resolved.
This is a very good way for you to let go of old grudges, and lets face it. We all have those.
