Regular grounding balances the body and your chakras. I have found crystal grounding to work very well for me and would advise it's use to anyone interested in grounding. The crystals also clean the chakra points wonderfully. 

Below I will list the stones for use in relation to the chakra points and the method used to bring about best results:

Base- chakra-a dark stone smoky quartz

Sacral- chakra-a dark red stone citrine

Solar- plexus-a golden stone

Heart- chakra-a light green stone

Throat- chakra-a strong blue stone lapis

3rd Eye- chakra-a small piece of amethyst (a large one is too powerful and will give you a headache)

Crown- chakra-a clear crystal (place around 4ins above the chakra point when lying down)

Before you start your grounding lie down in a quiet place and breathe deeply 3-4 times, very slowly.

Place the stones into position and lie for no more than 20 minutes, very relaxed, in any one day as this is a very powerful grounding.

Before use, cleanse the stones in warm water and sea salt for 24 hours.

Do this every so often to keep them at their peak.

Also it is best if you are the only person to touch the stones as they absorb energy from any contact made with them.

If someone else does touch or use them, dont worry, simply cleanse them again.

Another wonderful cleansing which is my personal favorite is to put crystals out under the full moon as they always seem so revitailised afterwards. 

The only other thing is to remember to open up your chakra points when doing this to allow the crystals to clean them as best they can.
