6 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
1 cup sliced red or green bell pepper
1 cup sliced onion
1 Tbs. salt
1 cup white vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seeds
Layer cucumbers, red pepper and onion in a glass bowl.
Mix salt, vinegar, sugar and celery seeds in a bowl.
Pour over the vegetables; do not stir.
Chill for 2 hours. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pack into
pint jars. Store in the refrigerator.
Makes 4 pints.
