A Strange Family Outing

Took my Mother with us, and met Jenn and Jacob close to the Island.. Dogs went with so it was a perfect day we all had fun near the salt water, Tony and I were throwing Balls in the water for the dogs.. Before letting them back into the van we washed and shampooed them so my van wouldn't smell of wet and salty dogs.

As we were all leaving we were to meet Jenn and Jacob by the Bunkers to have Lunch.

(Interesting).

After lunch I took both of the dogs with me for a little walk inside the Bunkers, it was rather hallow in there and I was making weird sounds in there.

Toka started barking and it echoed.. was kinda fun watching them acting out, as I returned to the picnic table area, I said to Jenn and Jacob they ought to try going in the biggest area of the Bunkers and walk all the way around them.

Inside where it is so dark You can not see in front of you. They tried but got scared and came back.

While they were walking towards the table Jenn coming towards me and Dakota, I heard Dakota growling. I looked towards him and as Jenn came closer she started leaning towards him asking him why he was growling at her, if it hadn't been for me having him on a leash he would have jumped at her and knocked her down. His hair was standing up on his back and he was in the stance, with his head down and getting ready to jump her.

I was floored, he had NEVER acted that way towards her. She stepped back and looked around and said, gee did I bring someone out with me..haha.

After she spoke Dakota calmed down but was rather leery of her. I never saw anything, So your guess is as good as Mine.

Why would Dakota have acted that way towards Jenn, was there something with her that he could see and feel. We don't know.

We four with the Dogs took a walk in the Bunkers it kinda looks like this U you go in one large door at the side and walk all the way to the middle of the U to the other side and then you come out these other large doors.

BUT in the middle is the BLACKEST area and of course a darn Iron doorway if you aren't careful you will run into it. As I almost did cause I was in front with Dakota..

Tony had Toka then Jenn and then Jacob.

It was darn funny cause Toka stopped dead in his tracks then went around Tony and touched Jacob with his wet nose, on the back of Jacobs leg in which that made Jacob jumped and say what's that  ##***^##!!!...

Tony turned said OMG!!! and Jenn screamed..

I was already through the Iron doorway by that time and as I turned to see if I could see anything, in which I couldn't Jenn let out another screech and I could hear Tony telling Toka to get out of the way.

At this time Dakota was pulling me towards the light near the end of the tunnel that we could see beyond the darkest area and he was barking and growling.

I was laughing so hard at the fact that they were having troubles getting through the Iron doorway... and NO we did NOT have a FLASHLIGHT. In which next time we go we will have one.

As we came out of the Bunkers and was walking towards the picnic table where we left Mom, we were all talking about what we felt in there.

 When we reached the table and told Mom what happened she said she could hear screaming but not just twice but more than that.

We all tried to tell her that Jenn only screamed twice and she swears she heard it more than two times.

There was NO one else in there except us and the Dogs.
