FOOD-PREPARING AND EATING
 
Preparing food is a very important function.  Why? 
 
Because when you handle anything some of your energy is left on it and it will go into it. So when preparing food do it with love, kindness and thankfulness. 
 
Always be thankful for the food you have and tell it Thank You and that it will give you sustenance that will help you to maintain your body and keep you healthy.  So Thank the food for this and also tell the food that it will once again go back into earth and become something again. 
 
This also is an old Indian and many other indeginous peoples way of Blessing what they take into their bodies.  It will help you to become more humble and also realize the connection between all things in your daily life that gives you sustenance, comfort and pleasure. Eating food should be a delightful experience.  There shouldn't be any topics of conversation that are upsetting for this in itself will upset the digestive systems. 
 
Before you and this can be done silently. Thank the food for giving you sustenance and that it will once again go back into earth to become something else.  When you eat, chew your food good, this aids in digestion....also focus on the food, the texture, aroma, taste and savor the flavor of it...enjoy it thoroughly and lovingly. 
 
Drink plenty of water....at least 64 ounces a day.  This will help cleanse your system and give the body the water it really needs to maintain itself.  Bottled water would be the best choice in this day and age, since our purifying systems in most cities/towns are not up to par.  The more water you drink the more disharmonies will be cleaned and cleared out that might cause illnesses. 
 
Of course if your exercising or working hard you will need to drink more to replenish what has been taken.  Water itself as are all things, crystalline in nature.  So understand that it is a purifyer.  Refresh yourself as much as posssible.  Pure water is just that, and the more you drink of it the more your body will respond to light as well.
