The Earthbound Spirits

The Earthbound spirits often do not realize they are dead.  They become "lost" wandering after separation from their physical bodies.  In many cases the spirits will attempt to communicate with their living friends and families but soon find that no one can hear them.  Some find that their former friends and family members become frightened when they attempt to communicate with them. This is often the start of the spirit's wandering journeys.

Spirit Guides vs. Earthbound Spirits

Prior to being born, each of us is assigned one main Spirit Guide that is there to help us through the rough times, as well as to help point us in the best direction.  Transitional guides may also be sent your way, to help you out with a specific situation or task at hand.  These transitional guides can be there for a few days, weeks or years sometimes.

Spirit Guides are souls that have lived, died and made their own Transition.  Guides are trained in that capacity for the specific task of becoming a Guide. 

A Guide will never attempt to control or interfere with the Free Will of their charge.  A deceased relative may also come back to give advise or communicate in some manner.  Again, the soul that has Transitioned will never attempt to control or interfere with the Free Will of the living. 

An Earthbound spirit has not Transitioned (gone to the Light) yet.  An attached spirit may try to influence decisions or interfere with a living person's Free Will.  The presence alone of an attached Earthbound spirit can sometimes disrupt the thoughts and choices of a living person.

Psychosomatic Symptoms

As mentioned, an Earthbound Spirit may retain their physical maladies from their life.  When attaching to a living person, the living person may experience what have come to be known as psychosomatic illnesses.  

These are illness which have been unable to be treated or diagnosed in conventional medicine.  A traditional physician will often refer a patient with these symptoms to psychologist or other professional for therapy. Often these types of illnesses have cleared up using Soul Fragment Reintegration, Regression Therapy and Attached Spirit Release. 

*Just Trying to Help*

(Perhaps the best way to illustrate the How and Why an Earthbound Spirit may become attached to a person would be to  share my own experience.  When I began my work in Spirits, I had no idea that my first client in doing Spirit Release would be myself.)

**My story begins with my father.  He was an alcoholic with drastic mood swings that shifted with his intoxication binges.  On any given day he may have been a caring father and later that same evening turn into an abusive tyrant. As a child of only about eight years old I didn't know how to handle these mood swings of my father.  I was angry and hurt that he would abuse me but I could not voice my feelings or stand up for myself at that age. During one such episode, while I was curled in a fetal position with fear, Robert stepped into my life.  Or should I say, Robert stepped into Me.

Robert was an Earthbound Spirit.  In life he was big, powerful and direct.  He was caring to me but could stand up to my father.  When my father began to drink, it was now Robert who stood in-between us.  It was Robert who took the abuse but it was also Robert who tried to protect me from getting hurt by influencing my decisions to keep people at a distance.  After all, in Robert's world you can't get hurt if you don't let people in. For much of my life this became my own way of dealing with people, including those I loved.  I never allowed myself to get too close to anyone.

By the time I got a chance to meet Robert, he was ready to leave.  I had met and married my wife, Melanie, and I was trying to learn to open up to her.  I told Robert that I appreciated his intervention when I was a child.  I let him know that I now understood his intent in coming into me at that time.  I also let him know that now that I was an adult I was much better prepared to take care of myself.  I explained to him that it would be best for both of us if we now parted company. All communications with Robert were conveyed with caring and respect.  He agreed to leave and Angels were invited to escort him to the Light.***
