BEDTIME, CHAIR, ROCK OR PEBBLE
Alright your in bed now and have the covers pulled....
I want you to raise your arms up and back beyond your head and with legs together, heels pulled back and toes pointing like a dancer, S T R E T C H out....do it again .... now relax and go limp....just lay there a second and languish in the luxury of your bed and how comfortable this feels.
Now then, feel the sheets next to your body....find the point that you don't feel them and 'sense' the area around them where you do. Reach those sensors in your skin and send that sening outwards to explore....your training your body to become a 'sensing' machine giving you information that is all around you.
Feel where your body goes into the mattress, the curves and how it supports you, feel the comfort it brings you that relaxes you....now take a deep breath and let it out like a sigh of relief....release all the tension your body and let it go out with the breath....Now how do you feel?
Did you know that by sensing this way, you can actually train the body to know when a spider or bug is around on the linen on the bed or under the linen and coming towards you.
Once you go through all the Exercises you will begin to notice more and more things around you. You are fine tuning the physical senses and this also will help fine tune the intuitive sensing because you are literally becoming more aware of 'everything' around you.
When you get this down to a very fine point, you will begin to notice other things in any room because your awareness is becoming 'keen'. You can do the above bed exercise in a chair also. Stretch and relax.
Feel the chair and how it supports and where. What points of the body is not completely touching the chair?
What does the fabric feel like against different parts of your body?
Have you ever picked up a rock or pebble outside and smelled it?
Have you ever taken your tongue and tasted it?
Have you ever just simply held it in your hand and sent it love?
Feel it, its shape....texture, is it smooth, or rough?
Sense the rock and ask it to tell you something about it. Close your eyes, what do you see from your Third Eye, what pictures, colors, feelings, thoughts do you get?
The next time you have a cup of coffee, hot tea or cocoa, take time to smell the aroma....aaaahhhh.....bring the cup close to your face and feel the steam coming from it.....and take that aroma in......mmmmm. Now take a sip and taste it.....really taste it now, savoring the flavor.....if your hands are cold, then if possible (or when) hold the cup between your hands and warm them, smelling the aroma and tasting, savoring the flavor....aaaah....
Enjoy what you do...always enjoy, be thankful for what you are feeling and taking into your body. Each and every moment is precious for there will never be another one quite like it, so savor it, be more aware of all things connected to it and how it makes you feel, think and Be.
