Baked Bananas
4 ripe bananas
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 Tbs. dry sherry
1 Tbs. lime juice
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Cut the bananas crosswise into halves; cut lengthwise into halves. Arrange in a single layer in a 9x12" baking dish.
Heat the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat until melted. Stir in the sherry and lime juice. Cook until heated through. Pour over the bananas. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
