Paranormal Definitions

Clairvoyance; Clairvoyance, the psychic perception of objects, persons, or events by means other than the senses, is a form of Extrasensory Perception investigated by Parapsychology.

Extrasensory Perception; Extrasensory perception (ESP) is the psychic ability to perceive objects, places, thoughts, or events without the mediation of any of the known sensory channels. Together with Psychokenisis, extrasensory perception is investigated by parapsychologists.

Fortuneteller; One who professes to foretell future events in a person's life.

Medium; One through whom the spirits of the dead allegedly communicate with the world of the living.

Prophet; One who speaks or claims to speak by divine inspiration or as the interpreter of divine will, esp. a religious teacher or leader professing or considered to be divinely inspired. One who foretells the future.

Psychic; One who is sensitive to extrasensory, nonphysical, or supernatural influences or forces.

Supernatural; Of or relating to a realm or existence beyond or exceeding the power of the natural world. Of or relating to ghosts or spirits. One who or that which exists beyond the natural world.

Ghosts; The disembodied spirit or image of a dead person appearing to be alive. Ghosts are believed to be ethereal, able to penetrate through walls and doors. Ghosts are the most common of the paranormal phenomenon. Ghosts only have enough energy to show up as orbs in photos, or to make certain personal items go missing.  They may be able to close doors as we have witnessed in the past, but that is the limit to their power. If your refrigerator floats across your kitchen, it is definitely not a ghost.

Spirit; A basic concept in the Western religious traditions in which it is often contrasted the material aspect of existence. This is the second most common explanation of paranormal activity we have encountered. But can the term spirit and the term ghost be used interchangeably? Others may disagree with this position, but as far as we are concerned, the answer is yes. Despite the written definition of these terms, everyone will interpret them on an individual basis. Our interpretation of the term spirit is the soul of a person.

Possession; An altered state of consciousness in which the conscious personality of the individual is replaced with that of an other personality thought of as a possessing entity. This would be the next step in the evolution of the world of the paranormal. Possession is something that does not happen very often but does happen. This topic is also very controversial in the world of the paranormal, and we will leave it up to the individual to decide on its validity.

The Demons; This is a bad one along with possession, but has the potential to occur more often than possession.  Because of a little game called the Ouija Board, demons have the ability to enter your home. If you use a Ouija board in an attempt to contact a family member, or just someone from the other side, you are inviting trouble into you home. All the demon needs is the invitation and they can go to work. They will fake whatever they think you want to hear like names of relatives, specific sounding answers, or whatever it takes to stay in our world. Then they will, like an unwanted visitor, try to find a way to stay permanently in your home and cause an extreme amount of upset.  This is when fridges fly, dolls talk, stones fall on the home.  Demons will follow you wherever you go, so moving wont help. It is not the house thats haunted, it is you. We are not experts in this area and have never dealt with a demon directly. However, we try to be as educated on this and other topics in the event that if the opportunity arises we will be able to identify it and suggest a course of action.

The Ouija; Is not the only way a demon can be invited. Playing with spells, potions and other related activities, can help demons find their way to you. For example, in a spell you ask for bad luck to fall upon your enemy. Who do you think will do it? If you guessed a demon, you would probably be right.  After their job is done they will want something from you, something that you will not be able to refuse.

The Wiccan; Wiccans believe that they should do no harm and that sending out these types of spells will only cause them to return threefold onto the sender. This is why the best defense is to not play at being Witch. Educate yourself about who Wicca really are, what they actually do, what they believe and who to trust with Wicca related activities.
This should help to avoid being involved in any negative repercussions. It will also help to dispel myths surrounding this belief system.
