Poltergeists
A poltergeist is a mischievous spirit often attracted to young teens going through puberty.
"Poltergeist" comes from the German words poltern, "to knock" and geist, "spirit".
Poltergeists move objects, make noises and create general disturbances. The history of poltergeists can be traced as far back as ancient Roman times.
Poltergeists have been studied extensively by parapsychologists and various theories have been put forward. Reports of poltergeist disturbances cite loud noises, lights, smells, physical and sexual assault, and telephones ringing.
Poltergeist activity stops as suddenly as it starts. It can last anywhere from a few hours to a few years.
Activity usually takes place when a particular individual is present - usually the young teenager at puberty. Some people believe that poltergeist activity is caused by an unconscious form of telekinesis kinesis by the teen.
Young teenagers do write to me often asking how they can become telekinetic. Dues to hormonal and emotional changes in the young teenager's body they can create resentful - type energies --> they sometimes throw and destroy things telekinetically which gives the illusion of a ghost in the house.
