Ok lets start off by saying. This is how I was taught in cleansing my Candles, and I do this everytime I get new Candles to use..

~The How To Cleanse Candles~

Before; When using your Candles for anything that will concern the works of Spirits and Meditations, Wicca,  PLEASE always Cleanse Your Candles.

After; You go out to Your Favorite Store to Buy Your Candles, and making sure they are the right colors for what You plan to use them for.

Why; After buying the certain type or color of Candle for whatever You plan to do with it or them, YOU need to cleanse the old Energy off of them, of others who have touch them.

How; Now this is the Easy part, you take the varies size Candles that you have gotten, get your Bible, have your Candles ready. As you are now ready to Cleanse the Old energy off to PUT your Energy on them, YOU open your Bible to PSALMS 23rd lay your Candles on the inside page and lay your Hand over them while you are saying the Verse.

One; After saying the Prayer over Your Candles and having Your hand over them they will not only Be cleansed,  But they will Be Blessed with Your Prayer and they will Now have YOUR ENERGY on them. **You should feel the heat from your hand to the candle below**

Make Sure; You Only use them while talking to Spirits, doing Meditations, or using them while in a chatroom.

Never; Use them for anything else, and NEVER let others touch them.. If this Happens You need to RE-Cleanse them, once this is done You may reuse them, for Your own purpose.

Always; Snuff out Your Candle after using it or them, Blowing them out is like blowing everything away that You have worked for. **Unless You are saying a prayer for others, then You can blow out the candle, the smoke will fly on the wind to whom-ever needs the prayer**

When; Starting to light your candles Say a "PROTECTION PRAYER" while lighting them so that you and your Candles are Protected.  Also to be even safer you can use the "PROTECTION BUBBLE" as well.

I hope this has and will Help you in getting started in using Your many Colored Candles. You may use and have Scented and or Unscented Candles. Whichever you want to use.

~A Practice- For You and Your Candle~

Make sure you have the room all Quiet to do this.. Make sure your Candle is Cleansed and Clean...doesn't matter what color of Candle you use either.. Light it and look into the yellow flame, then start looking out side the flame, (if you can still see outside the flame as it is clear you are not looking deep into the flame).

Around the out line of this Candle should start looking blurry, once you have it look out towards the wall you will beable to see the redness of the flame, walk it up to the ceiling and across it if you can. This little thing I do, was not taught to me by anyone, I just did it for trying it.

[This is what Happened when I had a friend Over one evening.]  **One evening I was doing a practice with my Candle flame a friend saw the flame travel up the wall as I was working it up the wall the flame started out as yellow turned red and then turned a dark purple. We both could see it even after we turned the Lights back on..**

This is just a Friendly Practice with your Candle. Walking the flame across the Floor or the Wall, is the best way to connect with your Candle.  Practice makes prefect.
