LOL Doll, I don't believe I'm the one to solve your dilemma, at least not any more. I used to be quite organized--back before I was convinced by my family to get on the computer. Also, our closet space became more of a problem when Kitten came to live with us at 2. I lost that space to her.  And, she has so many clothes that my husband had to put up a rack in the basement so we could shuffle winter and summer things. Of course, even though her closet is overflowing, she tends to wear just a few of the same things over and over--kind of Brittney Spears style--summer and winter. In our master bedroom we have his and hers closets. My poor husband has given up about half his space for bed linens, spreads, extra pillows, etc., because the hall linen closet is stuffed.  I have one closet full of everyday things and another more dressy things. I also have tons of clothing waiting to be ironed, altertered, mended, etc.. especially things ordered from HSN.  This would all be done if I didn't spend so much time on the computer. I had planned to catch up last winter but started my site instead, at Kitten's urging. Now that warm weather is here, I need to get back to outside chores.  I do tend to hang on to clothes too long, have high heels I wore in high school. I hang my clothes all short sleeves and then long sleeves, and then by color, slacks and jeans off by themselves. I don't wear anything to bed but have robes. I need to get in and buy all new bras and undies. I really don't think one can tell another how to do things. I know I have my own personal preference. I have three racks of clothes downstairs I need to donate--probably about 500 items. I have so many clothes that I probably could wear something different every day for the rest of my life, even make changes during the day. And, I just keep buying more. Just another addiction I have I guess. And, what's so stupid about it is I hardly ever go anywhere to wear them, usually am in jeans and a casual top, usually holding a pet. LOL  Oh, almost forgot about the downstairs hall closet that is packed full of coats, which I hardly ever wear--find them too confining.

Well, Doll, I am pushing 60 years old now. Even though I still try to look nice, I now tend to buy clothes that I feel I will be comfortable wearing.  And, I've learned in the hot weather it still is best to keep covered up. I used to mow in shorts and halter tops--got myself some really bad burns. Now I slather myself in sun protection, wear jeans, long sleeved shirt, hat and safety glasses.  I usually wear elastic waistbands and wear my shirts out.  When my older daughter was here at Easter, she remarked how her blouse kept coming out every time she raised her arms. I told her part of the problem was that it was too small and that she needed to wear it out anyway to cover her belly. She said she didn't want to do that because she thought it looked sloppy and not classy.  So, guess I'm sloppy and not classy. LOL    You know, sometimes I watch the awards shows and know those women, and men, spend hours and tons of money preparing for it.  Yet I see very few that I feel look good.
