Merry Christmas, Glenda.  It is already 10 am here and I just finished cleaning up the breakfast mess.  Now I need to clean up myself and get back down to the kitchen and start working on our Christmas dinner.  I'm glad it is going to be just the two of us--no rush and we can just relax today.  I haven't even made our bed yet because Duchess is still sleeping in it, looks so comfy.  Hey, Glenda, did you see Peeve's pic over at Greta's site?  Greta is posting pics of peoples' pets.  You should send her some of yours. It's fun seeing all the pets.  I wish all animals out there could be in a loving home.  I bet Tyler has already ripped open all his gifts.  Christmas is magical for kids his age.  I hope you'll post some pics.  Here's wishing you and everyone else a happy, healthy Christmas!  Oh, and did you see that video today of a dog that walked in to a store, went to the pet department, got itself a rawhide bone and left with it? LOL I guess it must have been getting itself a Christmas gift.

Do you remember this pic, Glenda? It's the Christmas card you sent me a few years ago.

This has always been one of my favorites. I'm sure you've seen it.  But, I just think it is worth reposting.

I think I've posted this before. This is our Topper and Talker.

The holiday season,
Although it may seem cold,
Sends feelings of warmth
To hearts both young and old.

I know it may sound strange,
But there must be something in the air,
Because the joy of Christmas
Can be found everywhere!

Good tidings abound,
People sing in the streets,
Families gather together
And share all kinds of treats!

It may seem kind of magical,
But it's with us all the time;
It only takes a little love
To make a heart truly shine.

Topper and Talker are so cute..Did you put them on the little Santa Bear?  That is a beautiful gazebo..do they have concerts there? Probably a little to cold to be out there..I'm afraid I don't remember that card. Did you have a nice Christmas? We sure did, but I'm happy it's over..Well I'm bushed..the girls have had friends in and out most of the day. See you tomorrow..

No, I didn't put the birds on the bear.  They just liked to sit on it.  That basket to the left is a basket where I kept pet toys.  The pets would go and get what toy they wanted. The birds used to love to play in it.  That pic is a few years old.  I sent it to Greta and she posted it on her blog.

Yes, they have several activities in that gazebo.  I think you sent that card to me about 3 years ago.  Did you get my card this year?

We had a nice quiet Christmas. I'm glad it is over too.  Ron made us a quiche this morning. He used some ham and leftover spinach salad.  It was good but different because he used tortillas for the crust. LOL  I may not need to cook again until New Year's because of all the leftovers we have. LOL
