I'm tempted to order this, certainly is cheap enough.  It just looks like it would be so much easier/faster to use and clean up  than my electric blender or processor or mixers.  I have a feeling though, since it is so cheap, it wouldn't hold up long. I wonder if WalMart carries them.

I usually don't watch QVC but was flipping through channels trying to find something to watch.  Cooking always catches my eye. LOL

I have something pretty simular to that one..It just has one blade and is quite sharp..It works pretty good. I bought is many years ago from a demonstration on tv. I think even before I knew about QVC and HSN. I haven't used it in awhile.

I did order it.  And, I ordered myself a pretty ring that I saw a few days ago.  It's a marcasite and champagne crystal ring, Item J0703.  It looks much better on air than it does in the pic on the web site.  I think I'm going to order the gourmet slicers too.  I do have a similar one.  But, I bought it years ago and it doesn't have the features this one does. It doesn't have the safety locking feature and I don't believe you can adjust the slicing.  Also, I like the little slicer.  I have several gadgets like these.  Ron and I used to go to home and garden shows and would buy lots of such stuff.  Most are just filling our drawers. LOL I tend to find it faster to just slice the stuff by hand, can have it done by the time I get out the gadgets. Also, I hate the cleaning up of them.  I have a Vidalia chopper but find it difficult to clean up all those little blades.  I think I've used it twice.  I also have the Magic Bullet, think I've used it twice.  Ron stood and watched me use it and just laughed.  I told him I guess you need to use it more often to get the hang of it.  Those demonstrators always make it look so much easier than it seems to be when you use them yourself.  I think I'll get some good out of the pitcher chopper because I'm always making dips/sauces.  If not, no great investment. LOL I need to clean out my junk drawers.  Every time I rummage through it, I cut my hand on that old slicer.  Now though I'm going to have to figure out where to store these new things.
