Okay....now that I've given thanks and eaten enough food to extend the lives of several starving Ethiopians by a month, I would just like to say:

 

If you are having guests to dinner, don't make wierd food for Thanksgiving!

 

Sauerkraut with cloves is not holiday food for most people in the US. 

 

There should always be AT LEAST 1 pumpkin pie.  Thanksgiving dinners without pumpkin pie do not count.

 

No skimpy servings.  We have a 25 lb turkey for 8 people.  What's with the 2 oz serving?

 

And finally....Eggnog is served with NUTMEG, and it is 1 tbs ground coffee per CUP, not per pot.
