I know I have been MIA for ever I am sorry for that. THere has just been so much going on.
In June my son came home from boot camp, got married and then his father and I drove him to Ft. Hood Tx to his new post. A week later I went to Warsaw Mo. to visit some people who were like my second parents. A week later I was in Texas again to my hubbys VHPA reunion, a week of fun lol. Came home through Louisiana to look at a house we were thinking of buying. Wasnt worth the asking price. A week later left for La yet again. This house was sold under us in 48 hours. So back to the computer I go. Found a place in Mississippi a week later were going back to Ms. First house we looked at was supose to be on a lake (the lake was and is a pond) didnt like where it was either. Saw another house that day...... Singed contracts, talked to banks. Got home and did more work. Printed papers from the bank and realitor, scanned the signed copies etc. etc etc. lot of e-mails are comming and going.
Now I am throwing away 10 years of stuff I really dont want to move. Sept 15 PODS should be here so then I get to start to pack. OH GOODIE.... Thank goodness we are not take much as in furniture. We are pretty much starting fresh and clean.
I hate my neighbors here this is why we are moving
house was broken into once
8 bikes stolen
1 van stolen twice
the same van had windows broken out twice
a truck stolen and used in a crime.
graffiti on the side walks
and to top it all off
11 bullet holes in the side of my house.
My family pretty much stay to themselves and we dont cause any problems. My neighbors just hate the fact I am not one of them. I'm white and there not. I dont have a problem with them but they have one with me I dont speak or understand Spanish. So after putting up with there wanting us to move we are. Now if one of them would come up with the cash to buy my house I will be more then willing to sell it to them, that is if there going to give me every single cent I want for it. I really hate leaving my house but I would rather live in the country where the streets are quiet, my kids can go out side and play with out the fear of getting hit by a car or bullets (which fly around here almost nightly). Listen to the crickets and not screeching tires.
By Sept 27th we should be in our new home in Ms. I have no idea how long it will take me to get internet. LOL but then again for the first few weeks I am going to have to get new furniture, unpack and just settle in. Then when all that is done I get to go job hunting. Exciting aint it.
ok all I am gonna go thanks for letting me vent.
