Here is what I do, it may be the hard way. lol  I will add my name to  this smilie.

 

Open the animation in psp to get the right size, copy it (shift&D). Close the ariginal animation, no to make changes.

use the copy of the animation for positioning purpose.

Add your text to it in psp. when you are happy with your text, adding all effects.

Delete the layer that has the animation on it.  Merge all the other layer to visable.

right click on the top bar and choose copy.

 

 

Then paste it in to animation shop.  Open up the animation all so. With the animation highlighted go to edit and the select all.

Go to you text layer you just pasted from psp. right click on the blue bar of the text and the paste/paste after current frame.

continue doing that untill you have the same number of frame. animation and the text.

 

 

when your animation and the txt has the same amount of frames make sure that both the animation and the text has select all. Then choose the smaller one and grab and drag it onto the other. they all should go into there own frame, if you have select all on both of them.
