I've been trying to learn how to work with vectors so I can make my own graphics and not have to worry about whether they're copyright or not and here's a couple things I made from scratch.
I made the penguin following a tutorial in a new PSP book I bought over the weekend. It's called Paint Shop Pro8 Zero to Hero by Sally Beachman and Ron Lacey.

This other image is suppose to be a bunny rabbit, but he kind of looks like a dog, lol. I made him completely from scratch and without using any tutorial. I saw a picture of a bunny holding a sign in a country Marketplace magazine I bought the other day and decided to see if I could make an image of him, using vectors. The magazine picture looks much nicer then what I did, but I was kind of proud of myself for doing this without any tutorial.
Talk about time consuming though. It took me 5 hours to make the penguin and I've been working on this bunny most of the day.
He's suppose to be holding up a sign so I still may make something to hang under him.

You're talented Sheryl.  I find vectors really hard.  I can't draw at all.
Did you use your mouse or that tablet you bought.

Thanks Linda. Like I said, I was kind of proud of myself for figuring out how to make this all on my own. I took a lot of what I've learned from doing other types of tutorials and used that knowledge to make that bunny.
This is my second bunny. I didn't put any underneath for the ears on my first bunny, or give him whiskers and hair and decided he needed something added to him. I saved each part of the bunny as separate images so I opened my head image and started over again. I made the underneath part of the ear, then contracted it by 10 to get a large area for the second color. I was going to vector out the top part of the ear but just didn't feel like doing it at the moment so I took my old ear, and cut some of it away, then placed it over the underneath ear. I may still make him new ears since my first ears were much longer. Maybe if he had longer ears he'd look more like a bunny, lol.
