I've been working on this basket of apples since Saturday and it's not the greatest, but I think I'm done. I should have made different size apples with different shading but I so terrible when it comes to shading and I ran out of patience, lol.
I made the basket and apples from vectors. I used the weave effect for the basket then added a multiply layer and dabbed big squares of blue paint in some of the weaves.
The handle was the hardest. I couldn't get the top the way I wanted it using vectors so I had to pixel it in.
So here's my basket of apples.

Here's a combination of some of my vectors. Let's see if this shows up.

Everything except for the duck and sunflower were made by me from scratch. Oh and the grass is just a PSP tube and I did make my own bow for the duck.
I followed tutorials to make the flower pot and apples but then changed the texture of the pot and went with my own shading for the apples since I couldn't get the results I liked from the instructions. I made my own dirt for the pot using a fur paintbrush tip.

This one I can see fine.  It's really neat.  Where did you learn to do that from scratch.

I learned from doing so many vector tutorials and experimenting, lol. The fence was easy since it's basically just a regtangle with a point on the end.
The bird house wasn't too hard either. I started with the Pentagon shape then made thin rectangles for the pointed edge and used the elipse  to make a hole in the birdhouse.
The basket was a little trickier only because of the handle but as I said before, I ended pixeling out the top of it since I couldn't get the shape just right.
I may try drawing a little kitty and put that in my picture but for the time being, I think I'm done.
Don't ask me what I'm going to do with this scene. I just felt like making it since I've seen similar scenes using a fence in the background.
