I have spent the whole day playing with this.  Mainly, I've been looking for tutorials on how to make a bow or ribbon that I could weave thru the wreath.  Can't find one.  I made this from tubes.  I'm posting it here to see what it looks like.

Hi Linda,
I sent you an e-mail with a tutorial for a wreath attached but figured I'd put the link in this thread too, just in case anyone else wants to try making one.

Here's a link to another tutorial for making a bow with holly.
It might be nice to use with a Christmas wreath.
I think I'm going to have to try making this cause I like the bow.

And yet another link to a bow tutorial.
This one is really pretty but looks hard to make.

I made one of those bows but I think I messed up on a step because it doesn't look as if I have enough drop shadow in one section on the right.
I'm too lazy to go back and do it again right now but maybe tomorrow.
Here's what I made. I tubed it then resized it, just to save it and show you what it looks like. I'll have to put it on something and see how I like it. I was also thinking of making the bow in a red and green plaid but don't feel up to making a plaid right now. My brain isn't in the mood for doing too much thinking, lol.
And speaking of my brain, I wanted to try that other bow tutorial at b4stitchers, but it's REALLY hard looking and I know my brain isn't up for the challenge. Actually I'm not sure it ever will be. I looked at the entire tutorial and it looks much too involved. I think I like the bows you make using someone else's selections.
Oh yeah, this bow was made using the tutorial in thread #3, the bow and holly one without the holly.
Have you done anything more with your wreath?

I decided that bow was kind of small so I made it again only a little bigger.

WOW... I'm impressed!  I would NEVER have the patience to make a bow from "scratch"!  lol
