I don't know what seems to be the problem (I'm pretending I don't) with this ridiculous gas prices rising about 15 cents from just this past Friday till yesterday. On Aug.12th, the regular unleaded gas was only $2.49, yesterday on our way to Virginia, it was about $2.65 already....all w/in 24 hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine how it is now over there on the west coast, it really feels like it costs an arm and a leg to get from point A to point B. I'm glad Chuck can take the train and Metro to Washington DC with his new assignment for the FAA and get to work in an hour, rather than spending almost 1 1/2-2 hrs in traffic and burn gas if he would drive to and fro work.
What's the govenrment doing about this. Not everyone has THAT much money to spend on gas??????? I'm so mad, I don't even use my purple color for my text

As much as I love this country (insert here a "biting my tongue" tag like Monica's).....is there any hope for our prez to do something about this problem that affects his own land???????
