These are Panchito and Chiquita. Panchito is the black and white male stud, he's about 3 years old now. He's an AKC Chihuahua. We found him his lifetime mate, Chiquita the beautiful slender black dame (she's a CKC chihuahua) who is now about 2 1/2 years old while we were vacationing in South Carolina visiting my cousins. Chiquita already had 3 litters of adorable Chihuahuas. 1st litter in July 2003, she had 4 healthy abbies, 3 boys and 1 girl. The 2 boys were sold to a wonderful retired vet and he takes care of them, they're doing great when we last checked on them this past Christmas. Chiquita's second litter was heartbreaking, she had only 1 pup but he was stillborn. The last litter she had was in October 2004 and she had 3 girls this time. They were all sold to my co-workers and able to see them when theybringbthem to the office to visit. They own our bedroom, they pretty much own the house lol!!! I'll post more next time. Show off Chiqui's 2 kids from her first litter, Belle and Brusco! |

This is Quin o(pronounced Keehno), our very first Chihuahua. Chuck and I got him Summer of 2001 when he's about 2 yrs. old. He's a very petite and only weighed between 3.5-3.8 lbs. He's a full bred AKC Chihuahua and he was so tiny and very quiet/laid back that we took him everywhere we went. We've taken him to places that you'll never think a dog will be able to get in, esp. in restaurants when Chuck and I would go on a day trip outside of Maryland. We also took him along with us during our partuing days with The FAM (our online group composed of about 100+chatters from MD, DC, VA, PA, NC & SC. He was a great companion to Chuck during our long trips to Columbia, SC when we would visit my cousins. He will stay up all day (or all nite) for the entire duration of him driving which is about 8-10 hrs. We lost him in 2002 during a Spring stroll at the dog park when something spooked him and he just took off, never to be seen again. I know he was found by someone but never bothered to return him to us or even call to say they found him. We offered reward and he also had dogtags and lost/found computer chip implanted on him. I was very sad and cried for almost 2 weeks tho he was really Chuck's dog. Then after 3 months of missing Quino, Chuck and I got another Chihuahua, my boy Panchito. Isn't he just adorable? I must have fallen asleep snuggling with him when Chuck took this pic. During one of our stops while going away for the weekend. During our Sunday brunch @ Rusty Scuppers overlooking the Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD. Here, he was content to just sitby the sidewalk while we dined. It was a beautiful day! He's just resting now while he waits for us. He had a great day outdoors! On our way to a FAM party. He took over the wheels when Chuck stopped at the gas station. Enjoying a visit with my sister Janice's hotel room when she and her dance troupe from the Philippines stopped by NJ. |
