I found this tut on how to make a dress for a doll base. I am currently working on mine, I will post the finished results as soon as I get the hair done.

 

This is an awesome tut that shows how to pixel shade instead of shading using cutout.

The site is in Spanish (I think) but you can follow the pictures pretty well.

 

When you go to the site to get the base, click on the graphic towards the bottom that says Pixel Art, at the top of the next screen click on pixel art, then click on bases on the left side, look for Lily bases on the left side. You must always credit the base maker.
