Not far to go                                        Sept 26, 2005

My eyes have adjusted to the darkness
He coolness has bought me to bliss
I’m lost in my own mind, nirvana of sorts
The Gavel banged hours ago in all three courts
Small claims, regular and superior in my favor
 I’m the last standing player
 In the cheese game
The people shall remember my name
As they will never see me again
My patience finally reached its end
And I’m over the mistrust and revival
 I’m only protecting my survival
 We took it tribal
And I proved my point to you people
 You wished me evil
And I prayed for your existence
I offered my strong hand against your existence
But it’s fine, I’m stronger and in solitude
I tried to hide my attitude
But you didn’t heed the warnings and crossed me
I had to find another place to hide the body
And it worked until they got me
Now I’m in solitary, enjoying the confinement
Looking back on how the freedom I spent
Enjoying the breeze on the <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Miami</st1:place></st1:City> coast
Getting the moonlight when I’m on my boat
 Sailing into eternity
? hour to go?back to reality
Sentenced to death, no one to walk with me
 Death by electricity
Tears fall as they strap me in
Not far to go before I join them in heaven
 The last rites are read
 “I’m dead?/P>
