We spoke..
 she more than I.
 I hung up the telephone,
 I didn't speak.
 I didn't hear.
 My heart silent with ignorance.
 My eyes were closed to the truth.
 My pride was a wall so heavy and thick.
 I had dismissed the conversation;
 her love,
 her loyalty.
 I wander now,
 and wonder.
 I try to be indifferent,
 But my soul sings her words.
 Will we talk again?
 The telephone is silent,
 Waiting for me to pick it up.
