Something that came up while I'm looking thru my old posts in this particular board about the tragic day 3 yrs ago. These are some random thoughts of 9/11 and they address my mixed feelings about some key personalities that played a role in this unspeakable act. It may sound like a downer but this is just the somber mood I'm in right now....
Dis-enchanting, you maybe
Dis-sensitized, our feelings have become
Dis-couraging, your words more often
Dis-array, our lives seem to be
Dis-engaging, our conversations entirely
Dis-illusioned, you claim of such power and might
Dis-heartening, your actions of cruelty
Dis-trust, you earned from your people
Dis-regarding, compassion and humanity you lack
Dis-satistisfied, everyone around you complain
Dis-honesty, continuing to lie and hide the truth
Dis-honor, you brought to your family and this country
Dis-likened, dis-approved, dis-barred,
Just completely "dissed" by the whole world.
Whoever you are, wherever you maybe,
Dis-appear, from the face of the earth you should.
