A MOTHER

Spends all  her time nurturing her young.

From the moment their lives have  begun.

Dedicates her life to give her children her best,

Stays up all night when they're ill, without rest.

Does without so her children will never want,

The perfect gift for them she'll forever hunt.

Will give to her young anything they need,

And if they're unhappy her heart will bleed.

Her eyes light up when she sees a young smile,

Knowing they're happy makes it all worthwhile.

Feels warm inside when by her child she's kissed,

When they're apart, likes to know she is missed.

Loves them and cares for them, watches them  grow,
Then after all those years, has to let them  go.
