Ever wondered what possessed MSN to use yellow as a background color to be used when you make a new posting for the boards? I know a lot of people are not very keen on using the dreaded yellow.

I don't have the exact solution to this problem but I do have a suggestion on how you can do "rid" of the yellow. What I did on the beginning of this thread is simple. I just put a small speck of period on it, then hit send. I know you can still see it but it you really want you can click on the font size and make it a size 1 (the font I had for above was a 3).

That's just a suggestion, it looks better than putting something else like another letter or something. You can even use a smiley on the initial message if you want.

You can also move your group. If you put it into the wine category, under food and drink it changes it to a red and grey colour scheme. Move it to journals, and it becomes a black and grey colour scheme. The only thing is, people will no longer be able to find you by browsing the categories.

Faulty, it's just MSN's setting that makes it always white after the first post. Just like what Fudien said, if you go to a diff. category, their inital post's background is not yellow but another color.

Here is a white background for you to use instead of your

Off the Yellow

Just highlight this box top to bottom,
copy it and paste it into your new reply box.

Delete all this wording and put what you want in it's place.
Hope this can help some of you!
