As explained by the manager from one of the groups that I co-manage (was promotd to be assistant manager @ Q.C. Awards) this is how you can rid of your custom made webpage by doing this:
To remove 'white-slips', it's much easier to do it this way. When you click on the 'edit page' option, go to the bottom of the page (or the location of the slip). Usually, if you click backspace, the cursor (flashing line-thingy) will move to the very side of the background set. When you click save, the slip should be gone. But, when you click backspace and the whole set is deleted, click 'cancel'. It's much easier to copy that page's information and make a brand-new page with the same name and content. This time, you can make sure no slip appears and you won't get frustrated with trying to get rid of it.
I've had a few of these white slips and Kimmie (Q.C. manager) was brilliant enough to show me how to make it go away.
Just make sure that you have 2 windows open with same page. Just in case you make that mistake of making the whole page "disappear" when you move the cursor back, you have another page where you can copy the content of the page you were working on. Believe me, it happened to me a few times while editing a page to add something or delete something and my butterfinger hit the back key and everything went blank. Don't panic coz if you didn't hit save, you can always just hit cancel and it will be like nothing happened. But if MSN is having a brain freeze and "eats" yor page to oblivion, you have a back-up page that still has the original content of the page you were editing.
To open another window, hold the shift key down and simultaneously left click on the "Pictures" part of your left navigation bar. This will open a new window which in turn you can use to go to the page that you're editing.
Hope this one helps. it sure makes the pages look very professional when there are no "white slips" or extra space on the top or bottom that's not covered with your background set.
Blessed Be.
